The Pub,it is what it says on the tin!Just like a nice British pub back home.We only sell quality beers,spirits and wines for quality people, so if you are looking for 1e beers and cheap local spirits,this may not be the place for you.We have draft,John Smiths,Strongbow,Carling, Coors,Cruz Campo,Heineken.Our prices dont alter according to the time of day/night.Our sports coverage is second to non,with 4 satellite systems you can be sure not to miss a thing and no picture freeze like other bars with internet tv.We are fully air conditioned for your comfort,and we are not afraid to use it either.Every night except Thursdays/fridays,we have our resident funnyman and compere,Jimmy the fish.We have probably the best quiz night format around,with questions and pictures to suit all the family.Quiz is free to enter and we offer a 10e prize.After the quiz,we move onto the party games.We try and involve you all,they are all pretty easy things to do.Most leave The Pub as friends,i hope you do.

This is a British pub opened all day long, where you can enjoy all sorts of drinks at the best prices. Toni, who is a British turned into Canarian 30 years ago, makes the best cocktails if you like them strong. Particated in a couple of quiz nights the atmosphere is 10/10 Everytime . Jimmy the fish is legendary. Roll on 2025 for our next visit .Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 5, 2024

The service was second to none and as always Sol was so professional and had time for every customer .We had the Sunday roast which was so nice and reasonably priced.We are regulars to McGuires and have never had a bad experience there.The breakfast there is also delicious. 5 stars all round.Visited April 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten April 1, 2024

The Pub itself is fine friendly bar staff etc. but on two occasions this week once in the day and an evening, we have been there and the language used by a certain crowd ( not sure if they live here or are on holiday) has been discussing.
I come from Liverpool so it’s not as though I haven’t heard bad language before but this was awful ! Sounded like they were on some kind of witch-hunt! F’ing and blinding and using the C word ! We left after we’d finished our drinks and so did two other couples as the situation as the group drank more got worse and worse.
There are plenty of other places to drink and while we can’t have one while sitting comfortably we won’t be using the pub anymore. !!!!

Sadly,these type of people are out there.We dont want these type of customers,we are not a stag/hen bar.The staff on duty at the time did ask the guys to tone it down,one girl v 8 rowdy lads,she aint got a chance.As you stated The Pub and staff are fine,so your review score of 1 star is of the group of lads.That group of lads and your rating could have a profound affect ,business wise.As if it aint hard enough now.Sorry you had a bad experience and to feel it should reflect on The Pub.

Didnt get a great vibe, popped in to watch some football and there were several matches all playing on various big screens which was OK but the inside was very tired and dingy.
The outside terrace was a bit better but obviously couldnt see the football so had to suffer the inside.
I think the owner? Was trying to give off a 'Im hard, dont mess with me' attitude so not great but the other bar staff were OK.
Also felt a bit cliquey.
Anyway, watched footie and left.

Sorry you did not have a great experience.I agree that everything is tired.After having our best ever winter period,even busy in April,which is rare,wear and tear has took its toll.Everything gets a spruce up ready for the summer in the low season,which is end of may and june.It just makes sense to do it then.Our terrace does have tvs,but it is a sun terrace,and has the sun all day,which makes viewing tvs impossible.Once darkness falls,there is 2 tvs for your viewing pleasure.
As for me thinking i am hard,lol.I think you are confusing blunt with hard.Theres a trip advisor tool that says popular mentions.There is over 70 mentions of me,Tony.The only bad one is yours Karen.Anyway,thanks for the review,it keeps us on our toes and will hopefully lead us to being the number bar in Costa Adeje for the 8th consecutive year.Cheers.

I have come to The Pub for seven years overall and I’m embarrassed to only be writing this review now so apologies! The place is brilliant. Wonderful atmosphere and very relaxed and welcoming for families. Staff are superb led by the owner Tony who is a top man! Then Jimmy the Fish doing the quiz at night is wonderful and great fun! Could not recommend more highly!!

As always it was a 5 star experience in Mc Guires - it was very busy as there were 3 matches on and it was Easter Sunday - the atmosphere was excellent. Great little friendly place. Was a 2 min walk from our hotel so this was a great stop off on way out and back. Good drinks and mixers are good. Good prices and definately worth a visit

We wanted a nice quiet friendly place to have a drink in the evenings and this place is perfect. The staff are so friendly and is just like being at home. We ended up here every night of the week we just had away and look forward to our next holiday so we can visit again.

Brilliant pub! Home from home. Came here after wanting a pub pub as opposed to a restaurant bar and was pleased we did. Enjoyed it that much, visited again the night after and would have done again every night after had we not been going home! Great bar, selection of beers, gins etc. Was made to feel extremely welcome and the quiz nights were fab! And its not often you can perfect baby guinnesses in Tenerife!! Super pub and will definitely be returning when we next visit Tenerife.

sadly i spend more time in this place than the dartboard.
The reason is this the staff are fantastic and cant do enough for you the owner tony is ok for a liverpool fan i suppose and jimmy the fish relay should be a morecambe fan by now instead of a grimsby boy but you can't tell them.

This is a brilliant bar. Great friendly staff. Always a good atmosphere. Fun quizzes, which everyone gets involved in. You get to meet so many nice people in there. Jimmy the Fish is excellent quiz host. Thanks to Tony and his team for giving us some more great times over the course of our holiday. When we come back, we will definitely call in.
