A wonderful view spoiled by the adjoining commercial centre and proximity to Playa de la Pinta.
If you are accustomed to the "Brits Abroad" behaviours of Playa de Las Americas and are a fan of big hoardings containing faded photos of food, then this is the place for you. The nearby bars in the commercial complex are like a scene from Blackpool beach, packed with red faced gammon from the British Isles.
Avoid walking here at lunch or dinner as you will be hounded by representatives of the restaurants and bars, in addition to hawkers and looky looky men.

A tourist port, not very big, but beautiful. There are several trips on the ocean, with different boats, that leave from here. We went on a 4.5 hour boat trip with the Royal Delphin ship. The port is clean, crowded but seems well organized.

All sorts of weirdos bothering you as you walk along the front or by the shops, and I don’t mean the African,s probably the most annoying are the Brits. that live and work there

Whenever we are in the area we go to Puerto Colon beach, it has everything you could want, good shops great restaurants and a great beach.

Excellent place to chill out with a cool relaxing drink or enjoy a meal whilst overlooking the marina. Only spoilt very recently by new owners of The Geordie Pride bar who insist on playing bad music at very excessive volumes.

Took a walk and passed by. Nice view and sunset. Many sea-excurtions start from here. A few bars if you want to chill with a beer or drink.
