The timbers of this remarkable building are wonderful. It is quite large and houses many stalls of various wares. It is an old and very well looked after structure and well worth visiting.

If in Questembert this is worth a look but will only take a very short time. We visited twice once when it held the bustling market which meant you could not appreciate the hall and once when it was empty. It is an open hall...More

This building is large and antiquated and houses many events including the weekly market. There is a great atmosphere and events such as remembrance day service as well as entertainment. When the market is on the buzz is really good with all the typically French...More

And there are cafes too. The market is held weekly in the morning and there is an evening farmers market too. But the building is the real gem.

Questembert is a very pretty village. The people are very friendly and there are lots of places to eat. Very quiet in evenings but maybe it's because it's Autumn. We will return again soon.
