I'm not from Lucera, but I spent a whole year on his streets and I totally fell in love.

From the Roman to the medieval world, from the 600s to the Saracen towers, from the very good wine to the show that stretches at the foot of the Swabian-Angevin Fortress ... I want to convey all this in my visits.
I have a special affinity for medieval (12th to 14th century) wooden statues and the Madonna with Child here is a beautiful example. The niche surrounding the wooden crucifix of the same period with its affrescos in full color is also striking. All in all the interior is rich and at the same time warm and invites reflection.
