We had a great diving experience with Plongee Passion. The people are really nice, they know their job very well and are really accommodating. It was the first diving experience of my partner and he loved it. Having done my first level a couple of years ago, they adapted the "baptism" for me so that I could be a bit more autonomous. We saw numerous species of algae, corals, fishes,... touch some of them!! Amazing experience

Of course we went to Martinique during this holiday season (winter 2014/15) for the sun & warmth. However, we also went to give my 8-year old son his 1st experience in scuba diving. After some (random) selection we picked the Plage de Grande Anse for our effort. There are a few diving centers and we picked Plongee Passion for two reasons: 1) the location, there was a nice restaurant right next to it but more importantly 2) the person who helped us was very friendly both to us and our son (thanks Ulysse - he very calmly explained everything, very good!!) The dive itself was from a medium sized boat (in total about 10 people, all diving) and the main instructor (I think the owner) took my son 1st (there were 2 other people waiting for their baptism). Overall the dive took 20 minutes (in and out of the water) and although I was no allowed to accompany him with my own gear (which wasn't a problem) I could follow him with mask/tuba & fins (and my GoPro). After that we had to wait (for the other divers to return and the 2 other baptism to finish as well) so we swam around the boat a little in the clear, warm water. we really enjoyed the trip and as always its very busy (it's high season) even so I didn't feel we were rushed in anyway and my son loved it! if there is one point for improvement: with young kids a scuba baptism is big thing, a small 'diploma' (nothing official mind you) would be nice.

Dauphins-Passion / Plongée-Passion We took their boat to see a wild pack of 60+ dolphins off the west coast of Martinique. Launches from Plongée-Passion on the northern side of Grande Anse beach. Tours are in french, as is pretty much everything in Martinique. We saw lots of dolphins, got to listen to their sounds with a hydrophone. The guide, Benjamin Montgolfier of Aquasearch, is a genuine Marine Biologist. The tour also included a snorkling expedition with equipment supplied including wetsuits. Another guide is a very strong free diver and would dive deep to grab all sorts of interesting species that everyone would get to hold in their hands. Everything was done with upmost respect for the animals. My kids 11, 13 and 15 greatly enjoyed the expedition. I believe the price was 60 Euros for adults and 35 Euros for kids and included a snack with fresh fruit and fruit juices. -Pascal
