Lots of history in that little building, and some very well done paintings. Nice way to spend an afternoon, and the guide was very informative.

My sister, niece and I recently made a stop at the Fort Qu'Appelle Museum of which part of it is the original log cabin office of Archie Mac Donald, albeit the added structure made to look like a fort has a bit to be desired, the large holding of historical and personal materials is quite remarkable, well presented and a great walk through the history of the North West Territories later Saskatchewan, Fort Qu'Appelle, Fort San and surrounding First Nations plus communities.

Nice overview of local history. We arranged for a visit outside of the regular hours and really appreciated our guide's knowledge and willingness to share with the 11 kids in our group information about the displays. Lots of artifacts and articles to browse. Not as engaging for youngest children but well received by older ones.
