When we take active vacations together, we tend to push our limits, and we have more fun. We meet and connect with other adventure seekers, and at times make friends for life.
It had been long, and a holiday was long overdue. Cycle Safari announced a tour de Chhattisgarh from 26th to 30th January 2018, and even though I was not fit enough to cycle long distances; and Tarique, my husband, was recovering from an injured knee, we decided to go for it for two reasons. Chhattisgarh was a place that had been on our list of “to visit” places for very long and this tour by Cycle Safari was a fully supported tour, as their tours always are, and, we had a choice of cycling for a part of the distance and travel in the support vehicles if we could not. I also decided to take our DSLR along, and it was a wise decision.
Despite not being in a great physical shape, I ended up cycling the entire distance of 82 km on the first day but cycling such a distance after almost a year’s gap sprained my left iliotibial band.
So I took a day off to rest on day 2 and put my SLR to good use. The rest helped me recover, and I could cycle on day 3 and day 4. On an aside, just before we got on our bikes on day 3, I slipped and fell down (not from my cycle, but while walking) injuring both my knees. But that was hardly a deterrent.
Thanks to Cycle Safari, what we brought back were tons of beautiful memories and lots of photographs. After reaching home while we were browsing and processing the pictures taken during the trip on the iPad when I realised that black and white brought out the mood of the trip much better than colour pictures, totally summing up the beautiful place Chhatisgarh is, and the experience that Cycle Safari gave us.
What made this trip even better was fellow cyclists -some friends, and some friends we made for life due to this safari.

Cycle Safari organised a first ever cycling tour in any National Park of India and that was ' Buffer mein Safar'. We 4 friends from Indore participated in it. It was a life time memorable experince of riding through green and seene forest of Kanha. Their arrangements were best of all cycling tours I have participated. I strongly recommend all cyclists to participate in tours orgnised by Cyclesafari.

Greatest experience of my life, a must do for every cyclist. I did a tour with Cycle Safari in 2018 and it was an experience of a lifetime. It was well organized in every term, route plans, stay arrangements,support teams during the ride, event management, sight seeing, comraderie of the group and the drone shots were icing on the cale, felt like being captured as a pelaton😍
The routes chosen are so amazing and I am thankful to my friend Sachin and his partners for letting me have this experience, these are the things we live for!!

If traveling the unexplored roads, being in the wilderness and staying close to nature excites you, Cycle Safari is a must-do experience in and near Nagpur. Their trip itineraries are well planned and staying facilities never compromised. My first cycling expedition was with them and the memories are still afresh. Strongly recommend. You just wont regret!!

Excellent memories of cycling from Manali to Leh. Very well coordinated cycling tour in one of the best place to ride in the world. Comfortable stay at Caravan once the ride for the day is over. As cyclist, one has to be careful about diet and hydration. In both these departments, the arrangements were perfect. Locally available food for lunch / dinner is worth trying but morning breakfast was always nutritious food made right there in Caravan.

Always wanted to visit MP's forests- Someone recommended the tour. I felt cycling would be perfect to explore the forests.
The organisers had hit the sweet spot. 400 kms in 4 days, in the buffer zone. "Buffer mei suffer" is what they called it !
1. The Route - 400km of awesomeness, roadbikable, which they were very specific about, free from traffic, great roads.
2. Stays - Perfectly located on the routes, the resorts blended in to the forest.
3 Safaris - The forest department was part of the support group throughout, who also offered multiple safaris and walks, perfect way to wind up after a long rides in the day. Oh! Did I mention night safaris and tiger spotting ?
4. Food - The best part was the trained tribal self help group called morni, who were at all the aid stations with perfectly balanced food and refreshments, which kept us going until the next aid stations.

Complete experience with cycling safari was superb, from the time of booking, payment ,pickup , cycle transfer, food , stay , hospitality, discussion between ride and while having food , back up vehical with extra cycle and mechanic , ambulance with staff , photographers etc….. full time masti , arrangement of stay at all resorts …. No words hats off to all the organisers and complete team . Experience of riding in buffer and core was life time achievement and even sighting of wild animals on way was jabardast . Support from MP tourism department and forest department and there staff was very cheering . They organised folk dance , pottery class , live painting , story telling which was ultimate. Thanks to entire team .

Whenever I close my eyes , I find myself in the jungle surrounded by trees, chirping birds, hurting butt, numb hands. It was such a surreal experience. I don’t have words to explain my gratitude to the team cyclesafari. I am hurting today and everyday since the tour that the tour has ended. It should have gone on and on. Feel really bad to be back from heaven created by Mother Earth. Sachin , you are The Man. Thanks and regards are not enough. I am still in trance and awe of the experience. One lifetime is not enough to keep having such experiences and I envy you to the core that you get to enjoy it whenever you want. What a team you have there, everyone is so positive and welcoming. Whenever we were getting tired, there used to be either a support van standing in front or lucky passing by and saying ‘good..good..very good 😊’ and show kept on going on. Dronacharya was at his best. Very enthusiastic camera people standing at very strategic uphill point to make sure that you do your best to finish the climb, what an idea sir ji 😎. Food was amazing. Living in tents with friends and enjoying the evenings was like nirvana. Looking forward to join you all in the next tour whenever you plan it, provided you all can tolerate Marhaba group once again 😁.

Cycle Safari team did an excellent job in organising Mowgli Land "Buffer Mein Safar" trip. Best Off road ride i have ever done. The whole team did worked very hard on every minute details from marking the road to providing cold water in support stations to taking care of every individual rider . A lifetime experience with unforgettable good memories with lots of new friends. Looking forward for their next event .😀

Went through Kanha cycling expedition excellent organised by Cycle Safari in the land of tigers 🐅 . An amazing experience with team Cycle Safari with Night stays at serene locations in green forests 🌳 of Kanha.
