This place is a little gem. A sheltered area with safe swimming for all ages and abilities, though there are often currents if people venture beyond the rocks. It can get a bit crowded, and is well used by patrons of the Dive centre located...More

This is our favourite beach in puerto del carmen. It is clean, safe and interesting watching the divers coming and going.

Beach in front of Hotel Fariones (1 Replies)
Is it possible to access this beach if you are not staying at the Hotel? It has been recommended for snorkelling but we've not seen a way to it either from the main beach or Playa Chica side. Thank you

Best area to stay in June - peaceful bar/ restaurants/ beach (3 Replies)
Hi, after a wonderful 10 days in Lanzarote last June, researching Fuerteventura as a similar but different holiday. Young minded couple in our 40s, not looking for a touristy Brits holiday, but still like that convenience nearby. We won't be driving, but love walking or cycling along trails or beaches to other towns and villages. Will spend a large portion of the time on our own terrace/ balcony when on holiday, but like to get out for groceries and a stroll, then a bar and restaurants early...More

Accommodation near Playa Chica Beach (5 Replies)
I have a chance to rent a lovely apartment across the road from Playa Chica beach. I haven't been to Lannzarote for some time. I am familiar with Fariones Hotel is it far from there. I like the old town to eat out.

Playa Chica is less than 5 minutes from Fariones hotel which itself is currently undergoing a massive refurbishment. It's been totally gutted apart from outside walls.
