Bit of a mixed review, ( 3 + 1 guide) it was my 12 year old daughters 1st scuba dive & my 2nd, the staff are very nice & the guide ( Keaton) was very friendly & patience. The problem start 20 minutes into the dive! when my daughter scuba mask continued to retain water, So Keaton & my daughter surfaced, eventually I surfaced to check on my daughter & discovered my daughter didn’t want to continue the dive! Keaton wasn’t happy with me coming up ( but that’s a dads instinct) so at this point we still had one person at 6m underwater & 2 people wanting to return to the beach with 1 guide trying to supervise 2 issues! Me & my daughter eventually made our way back whilst Keaton continue the dive! When we were getting changed there was an air of silence & no one asked my daughter if she was okay & no response to our thanks & goodbyes! I personally believe there should of been another guide/ supervisor to cover this! Lessons learned for me to ask this before I scuba dive again!!

We were recommended Safari diving by a friend. We booked to do a try dive with our kids aged 10 & 12. What an amazing experience. Adam, our instructor, explained all the equipment and then helped us kit up and get ready for the dive. The diving starts a few steps away from the dive center so no time is wasted. We were made to feel totally at ease with the safety aspects of the activity so could relax and enjoy the experience. It was so good to see the kids learn a new skill in such an amazing environment. We were back two days later to do the follow up dive which was absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to see lots of different fish from rays to sea horses. I’m sure we’ll be back for more.

I chose a 6 dive package and it was amazing. The dive centre is right on the beach at the entry point, so there is no messing around with kit in vans. The best thing about the centre is the staff. They are really friendly, knowledgable and actually love diving. They took us round reefs and caves and pointed out interesting sea life like Angel Sharks, Barracuda, Butterfly Rays and Seahorses. If I'm ever back in Lanzarote I'll definitely book with Safari Diving again.

I had wanted to try scuba diving for about 30 years . I had watched and thought about doing it in many other holiday destinations. This year I found the perfect place in safari diving centre my husband was happy to stay on the beach while I walked a few paces to the dive cabin. On my trail dive I saw pufferfish grunt bream wrasse flounder barracuda bluefin damselfish a pair of cuttlefish and many more species. But my favourite view underwater was my instructor Adam who was so patient with me and didn’t seem phased by my anxiety/nerves he was professional calm friendly and safety was paramount. I’m now glad I waited because I’m sure I achieved the best dive with the best variety of fish with the best instructor thanks again Adam regards Helen

I had an absolute great experience at Safari Diving Lanzarote. Staff is very delightful and very helpful with providing all the information that I needed and adapting to my time disposal. I had no prior experience with diving, but the instructor (Debora) was excellent in explaining everything clearly and making me feel comfortable and safe under water. Thanks for making my holidays extra special and I look forward to come back for more advanced courses!
