Roberto was very professional and friendly and always happy to answer all sorts of questions. I would highly recommend this trip, especially for anyone who hasn't much experience of hut to hut trips. Only four nights in huts. With Roberto's vast experience he will make this an unforgettable trip.

We had a wonderful time hiking with Roberto in June 2019. We did theee days in the Alps and then a day hike. Highly highly recommend. The hiking was great (saw very few people, incredible views). Roberto was knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful and funny. We enjoyed our time with him. We had another gentlemen join us and worked great. Stayed in lodges and a mountain house with our own room. My only regret was packing too much! Would go back in a heartbeat.

Enrico led us on a hike of a lifetime! We are still glowing with the memories. Enrico's skills gave us great confidence and his knowledge of the region was an outstanding history lesson! We were honored to have stopped at the Willy Jervis refuge. The treat of local valley meats and cheeses at the refuge was an added surprise. Thank you Enrico for planning a hike that that matched our skills and showing us the most beautiful valley imagined! We highly recommend Enrico's services!

We enjoyed a fantastic and adventurous 4 day hike with Roberto from Trekking Alps. He was very friendly and of great character, with a sense of humour. The route planned was very scenic and adjustments were made to consider the weather and the snow line - a similar self guided walk would not have been possible at this time of the year (May-June). The route chosen was a good balance of challenge and enjoyment. Most of what we learnt of the geography and local culture was through discussion with Roberto - but don't expect frequent stops and lecture-style explanations. Recommended.

The hike was that much better than expected. We had freedom is choosing where and when to hike, allowing us to scale difficulty as we pleased. No matter how hard we made it for ourselves, the guide was levels above our league, making the experience seamless and pleasant! Definitely recommended to anyone who wishes to explore the Italian Alps on their own terms!

We did the 3-day, 2-night hike with Enrico (Day 1 and 2), and Giulio (Day 3). We stayed in a mountain hut the first night and more of a bnb the second night. Enrico was very knowledgeable about the region, the wildlife, the trails, and the weather patterns. That alone made the trek very interesting. Every time we took a break, he pointed out the nearby wildlife and explained the livelihood of people living in/near the Alps. If I recall, the level of our hike was "moderate" and I would say it is good for people with some hiking experience and are okay with some strenuous incline. I will note that we DID go off-trail for a bit (on-purpose) which made for a more adventurous (and strenuous) hike, and it was super enjoyable! The guides will cater the trek around your comfort level and will only push if you're up for the challenge.
The mountain hut was cozy and it was nice to not have to set up your own shelter. I think we would have appreciated it even more if we were hiking in the winter and were getting out of the cold.
The bnb was wonderful and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend a taste of both mountain huts and bnbs if you can swing it.
I'd recommend any sort of multi-day trek for anyone remotely interested in trekking the Alps in some way. There's a trek for all ages and fitness levels.

First, he knows the mountains. He grew up here and knows all the peaks and valleys intimately. He understands when weather and other conditions make it necessary to find alternate routes. Second, he knows people. He gets to know each member of his group, their strengths and capabiltiites, and fine-tunes the treks to accomodate everyone. Third, he understands how to tack on an extra hike or exploration for those who need to push themselves a little harder, uncovering unexpected delights in the Alps. Fourth, he is a great cook, and is able to make cost-effective yet extremely tasty meals after a long day of hiking. Finally, his passion shows through everything he does. We could not have asked for, or found, a better guide, companion and friend than Roberto. We are exited to do another trek with Roberto.

I had 4 days together with Roberto in Alps. Although the best season is over but it is still one of best trek I ever had, beautiful mountains, lakes and wild animals… so a wonderful experiences. Robert did an excellent job on that trek. He is passionate and knowledgeable about natural and a good companion in the mountains ... we shared a lot about our shared passion on natural but also cultures and history … about Italy and China. overall I recommend him highly.

Roberto was fantastic! I did a 1 day and 4 day hike with him, the first staying at his beautiful bnb, and the rest in guarded huts which were fantastic and very comfortable. Roberto made the hikes the right level, teaching about wildlife, and very fun! I would love to come again
