Many Different Pools But Poor Locker/Changing Facilities
Jan 2018 • Solo
Firstly this is not a hot spring...though it is advertised on many websites. Many pools are warm and heated artificially.
The pools seem clean and reasonably hygienic. There are loungers which are often occupied when busy e.g. in January.
The men's shower and changing facilities are quite poor. Showers are rusted and minimally hygienic.
The restaurant service is quite poor. It takes a very looooonnnnnggg time for orders to be taken. Eventually I couldn't wait and informed the waitress and left.
What was ok was that I didn't have to pay an entry fee because this was included in my room rate at the Hotel Quiroga.

Not complete functional
Jan 2017 • Family
We visited in 2 different days the park and some attractions were not working. To seat you need to rent a chair. Besides that the kids has enjoyed the water slides and the area were you can relax with some water massaging jets I recommend.

Fair entertainment, bad (close to none) food
Nov 2016 • Couples
Nice place, good park with lots of trees, nice pools (not too big, but fair). It has a restaurant and a kiosk. The restaurant closed before the park, so at 4 p.m. there was no way to eat something there. They don't even had bread left to make a sandwich. The kiosk was almost empty. If you plan on spending the whole day there, better bring your own food and drink.

nice stop for a few hours
Mar 2015
Termos de Salto Grande is a great stop for a few hours - if you are going that direction anyway. I would not go there with that as the main purpose. We passed by when going from Paraguay to Montevideo, and it was nice to spend a few hours there to relax.

Basic, Fun, Great View Overlooking the Dam
Aug 2015 • Solo
This was the only terma I visited in the area. So, I'm not sure what to expect from the other ones, or how Aquatic Park is in comparison to other ones. As the only one I visited, it was pretty interesting! I chose to visit this one partly because of its proximity to Salto (where I was staying) and also because of its reviews online.

I went in August 2015, during winter in Uruguay. It was cold and rainy, and I was assured by Salto locals that it would still be good to visit in the winter. I showed up, and was the only one there (traveling solo)! Literally, I had the park to myself. It felt a bit odd, as in a deserted amusement park, but it was peaceful. I found the hottest pools (near the back, overlooking the dam) and enjoyed. No screaming children, and I felt comfortable that the water was clean.

I took a shower in the locker room afterwards, which was pretty bare bones. No toilet paper in the bathroom, from what I remember. Don't expect anything fancy. But the water was warm and there was good shower pressure. There are lockers, but no locks, so bring your own padlocks. Oh, and there's an extra fee to rent a robe, maybe $10 USD.

Highly overrated
As a middle age man I had really look forward to the slides... Since I just drink a little bit mate the main attraction was to cure a bad back with some hot thermal water. But I must say I was really disappointed of the whole think. Sure, the water is of good temperature but this and the other place we tested up here was rum down, horrible food if non and not much for more than a few hours. Been to real hot springs in nature here and there, also to big 'waterworlds' indoor and most of it beats this. Whole trip to Salta was then good because other things, not this.

Nice if you need a soak, but not grand
Oct 2014 • Couples
We went there as I was coming down with a flu and thought the heat would do me good. It did, but honestly speaking, this was the only attraction apart from Salto being half way between Colonia and Iguazu. Otherwise I would give the town and the Termas a miss and go right through to Iguazu. Would have done it myself if I wasn't sick.

Walk all over salto city to find out its 10km away not in the city. You need to get a bus from the bus centre of somewhere else.
