The best way to see most ‘old towns’ is on foot. Elche is no exception. Don’t miss this delightful little square with a tiled centre and fountain. Avoid the Cafeteria Glorieta, the service is very poor. Otherwise some lovely shops and restaurants surround.
What a splendid place to walk around and/or sit and watch the world go by, the flowers in the flower beds were truly wonderful and well kept, there is a fountain water feature in the centre and a statuesque bust of the Dame of Elche....More
