Well, this temple is one of the top locations in all China. To feel what it means 2000s years of kung fu and meditation practise, you have to come here. Sit, camly and feed. Trees of 4000 is serious thing too !

We spent a bit of time in the yard of the temple just walking around. It is a nice area and the temples are interesting and well preserved. The yard has quite a few wonderful old trees that have wonderful trunks. It was the most impressive part of our walk in the yard

Monks, Kung fu lessons, shaolin temple and a great pagoda forest.... what do you want more ?? Kids will enjoy it a lot.... meanwhile walking you might meet some real Kung-fu students living around for a 12 years school to get to be real Kung fu players. We loved the show, we loved the temple with its monks and the pagoda forest is charming. Don’t miss it!
And go back by bus for only 15 yuan.

This is part of Shaolin Temple. The courtyard has many very old cypress trees, some even thousands of years old. Depending on your time of visit, you may observe youngsters practicing kung fu here. Though now a very touristy place, one can have a glimpse of the past where the monks were practising to perfect the kung fu, which Shaolin is renowned for.

Hopefully you will see some training by the students. The temple is quite nice, but the most interesting is seeing the students performing.

We love to watch training field packed with a lot of Shaolin disciples, even 5 years old child was practice there. There is a registration counter outside the theater for children Kungfu class, very interesting.

Interesting. The show is very nice although crowded, but then again, what isn't in China? Stand in a bench and enjoy!
