Feel like discovering Le Petite Camargue's landscapes and secrets in another way? Let us guide you on nature trails through our magnificent wild land.

Camargue Autrement takes you on the "senses road" with an open roof and the sky at within reach.

You will follow the channels and will let you be carried along towards the walls o the medieval city.

In the swamps, you may come upon a flamingo taking off, or a coypu crossing the trail. While taking a tasty break, "le manadier" (the owner of a herd of bulls) will let you enter his ranch.

All our roundtrips and safaris included either a lunch-break, a degustation of wine, local products or a breakfast.

I would like to write a better review, since our guide was doing everything possible to be funny and welcoming but really, this outing was not what we expected. A 4x4 was not really necessary for this trip, As we mostly drove on paved roads, which we could have easily accessed with our own car. You never get out of... More

It was an amazing tour through the wonderful Camargue. It shall take 3 hours but we had it for all 5 hours long and all this time was excited. Our driver Etienne (sorry, if the name spell is incorrect) was friendly and he told and showed us so much new that even our 3 years old daughter was interested. We... More

This tour was not quite what we were expecting. My wife has always wanted to visit the camargue to see the horses, flamingos and bulls. Maybe we were wrong to expect to see these in the wild ? We saw about 4 flamingos, the horses and bulls are in fields. There were no stampeding packs hurtling across the savannah as... More

What a trip! Well worth every cent, learnt more about the area on this trip than I have cleaned in 17 years married to a local. Our guide (Yuan - excuse spelling) was brilliant, he made the trip very interesting and was able to speak fluently in English and French with a mixed group of travelers of all ages. The... More

This is an excellent tour. Our tour guide was a home grown native of the area. In addition to sharing the standard Camargue, he also provided details regarding the local towns and customs. We book an English tour but were scheduled into an English and French group. This resulted in an additional hour duration because the guide narrated all discussion... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of this fascinating part of the world. Isabella spent extra time as she had to communicate in both French and English so that all of us could fully understand what we were seeing. Her delightful personality made it all the more fun.

We enquired through the Tourist Office in Aigues Mortes, where they made phone calls to find a suitable 4x4 safari with an English speaking guide. Departure point in Le Grau du Roi easy to find and free parking. Joined four more adults and two children (French speaking) for a fascinating insight into everything that is the Camargue - history, farming,... More

Great activity when in the région. We made the tour with two girl age 8&10 and they loved it. You cruise around the region with a lot of good info by the driver/guide. There a few stops. One for wine tasting (and buying) and one to taste some taureau sausage, some local patisserie and a glass of rosé. Along the... More

What we liked best: Guide was very passionate about his subject and very mature for his age (21); good value for 4 hour tour; variety of wild life, snack stop, wine tasting, local scenery. What we did not like: Guide chatted to us in English & French for 4 hours non-stop; by end we were exhausted; apart from two stops,... More

A brilliant tour of the camargue. Flamingos bulls horses and wine tasting! Would highly recommend. Tour guide was very informative and spoke both French and English. Was an open top land rover seating 8 people plus driver. Would recommend taking water as got very hot. Ended up being 4 and half hours as there is a lot to see.
