Island Yoga is a yoga retreat centre on peaceful Koh Yao Noi in Phangna Bay in Southern Thailand. We offer yoga retreats lasting anywhere from 4 days to several weeks, starting at any time during the season with our unique 'rolling retreats' concept. Island Yoga teachers provide classes based on Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin yoga for Asana (physical poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. Weekly workshops are also available as well as drop in yoga during peak season. We also use the outdoors as an environment in which to expand our the spiritual experience with rock climbing, kayaking and other outdoor activity trips on a weekly basis. Island Yoga is the perfect escape from the more touristy, busy parts of Thailand.

I booked 5 nights at Island Yoga and was a little apprehensive as I wouldn't call myself a massive 'yogi' and practising twice a day was potentially going beyond my limit. I very quickly fell in love with the place, the yoga and the sunrise tai chi. It's not too busy and despite it being a popular time to visit... More

Submerge yourself in tranquility, calm and om at Island yoga. A perfect combination of asana, pranayama, meditation and spirituality pitched at just the right level of challenge. Koh Yao Noi offers unspoilt Thailand that is so hard to find these days. A wonderful experience delivered by a knowledgeable, friendly and hardworking team. Highly recommended, excellent value for money.

We had the best time of our life in island yoga. Great experienced teachers, nice and clean bungalows, easy going and friendly staff and straight access to the beaches.

This is my first yoga retreat and I thought it was very good!!!! I think it was a bit expensive for what it was, but nevertheless I really enjoyed my time. It would have been nice if the workshops during the day were a bit more reasonably priced, as I would have loved to do them! The food was tasty,... More

Location: Wow - Koh Yao Noi is just lovely, a quiet little island with not too many westerners, friendly locals, quiet roads and just stunning scenery. Hire a bike or moped and get out and see it (i always said i wouldn't ride one but here was just perfect to learn and i'm so glad i did). Yoga: Note: if... More

If you are looking for ok yoga Place, and you want to put really much of money, this is great Place. Yogalessons are good, but you will have only 2 of them By day, all workshops costs more. The Place is really really nice, the beach is on of them beatifist, which I have seen in Thailand. Rooms are ok,... More

Spent a mini retreat at Island Yoga, Koh Yao Noi. Loved my stay there! My budget fan room was very basic, but just what I needed. I really enjoyed the yoga classes. Some of them quite challenging for me, but not to challenging. Experienced instructors and a lot of interesting worksshops. Do not miss the lovely tai chi sessions on... More

Spent a wonderful week of R&R at this lovely resort! The yoga was brilliant, pretty tough in the heat. Even though I have been practicing yoga for 6 years sometimes the intermediate class expected understanding of very niche forms of yoga. But the beginners class was also brilliant! All the staff were amazing and the restaurant did cracking food! I... More

Beautiful place to do Yoga during your holiday. Good classes twice a day, different teachers. Nice Bungalows, friendly staff. But no retreat any more: too many people, teachers are not around much any more- not even during "family" dinner. Prices increased. Still liked it a lot but it lost it's uniqueness.
