We were taken on a very interesting tour by one of the Keepers. He was very well informed about all the snakes habitats, diets etc. Also had the opportunity to handle the snakes. The Brown House snake was very easy to handle. They also milk the snakes of venom and keep stocks of Anti-Venom as the African Puff-Adder is very... More

Even if you don,t like snakes this is a must place to visit. Take your camera, and don,t worry you will not be bitten.

It's a wonderful place to visit for a couple of hours. Our very knowledgeable guide, Geoffrey, was happy to answer any questions we had and you can interact with the snakes and take great photographs. They also do "snake safari's" which I am sure will be very enjoyable.

Great place to visit for an hour or so! We held snakes and learnt a lot from our guide about the differnet snakes in the areas and which are poisonous etc.

My boyfriend and I went on a 12-day “snake” safari with Kenya Snake Safaris run by Royjan and Clare Taylor. Although we are both keenly interested in snakes, we also wanted to see other Kenyan wildlife, including birds, as well. Royjan and Clare planned the perfect trip for us, which took us from Nairobi National Park to the Naibosho Conservancy... More

Not much to say except I felt the snakes were not really cared for , not really sure why I went and I would not recommend that anyone goes to be honest

probably the most amazing thing about the sleepy village of Watamu. the snake farm that makes most of the worlds anti venom and you get to handle snakes. including a HUGE python.
