Wolf Creek - The Links

If I was able give this course a zero I would have. They charge you $85..full fees for a course that is best described as a donkey track. If you want a separate golf cart because of Covid concerns you must pay $40 verses $20. The greens look like they have a fungus in them, they are bald, extreme dry patches. Fairways haven’t been groomed in a week or more. Some tee boxes, Silver, you couldn’t even get you tee in the ground. The washrooms smell awful and are disgusting. Save your money and go to Innisfail to play.

Rundown and over priced
Aug 2020 • Couples
I was excited to play here as I heard so much about it a while back. It was so disappointing. We played the links and the cart paths were terrible, the geens were in rough shape, in general the upkeep was terrible. The clubhouse smelled musty and old and my husband said the smell in the men's washroom was disgusting. I will never play here again unless they do a major upgrade.

nice course, conditions not the greatest

I played a round here in September. The course needs some TLC, especially the cart paths. You have to hit it straight on this course or you will end up in trouble.

Tough course but incredible views
Great shape. Greens are rolling and fast
Fescue in sides makes it tough if you miss fairway
Fun to golf course knowledge would help well worth the price
Great pro shop

Horrible shape and depressing staff... waste of money

I usually don’t have a problem understanding a course with some rough patches. But for nearly the same price as elite courses in Canmore and Calgary - it was not worth the trip. We played the old course and I was shocked at how much winter kill was all over the course. There were bare patches of mud in places and even the cuts around the bunkers were poorly taken care of. Maybe they should stick to having 1 course instead of 2 as they obviously don’t have the cash flow to maintain both.

Value Over Rated

This is a really expensive course for the value. Carts are rarely allowed on the fairway and there are several blind holes. I would definitely not go back. There is a lot better bang for your buck elsewhere in Central Alberta

Favourite so far.

Great fun to be had at this course, offers so many options to golf, 2 full 18hole courses, good practice facilities! Old course is no slouch, has some challenge. Definitely my favourite course in central Alberta, if not Alberta as a whole. Seriously considering membership for next season based on my experiences here. Can't wait

Enjoyed a delicious meal here recently. The poutine was enough for at least two to share. Sandwiches were very tasty and great service. The views were a bonus. Family friendly a plus too.

Great course. Great staff. Fantastic food! They have wonderful lessons for kids. Eating at the 19th hole is always a hit. Soooooo much food though. We always take part of our meal home to enjoy later. Great service and knowledgeable staff. Q
