Enjoy the cool weather in a tropical country
I think I’ll never get tired of this place 😊 It was good to be back here after so long. I love to spend time here and shop if I wanted to. Plenty of shops and brands to choose from. IT’s especially nice to visit during non peak season as the crowd is less and no rush. Same goes to the traffic. Highly recommend to visit this place. There are nearby hotels as well to stay.

    Beautiful Views and Lovely Outlet
The views are beautiful, the vibe is excellent. One of the best outlet malls i have been to. Lot of scenic points. The stock was not upto the mark and was very expensive in comparison to usa outlets. But i liked the place overall and had a good time.

    Good Place with a but…
I am in KL now and am writing this review and i hope people going there takes this into consider. All was ok.. with exception of getting a Grab to travel back to KL. 1. No grab was available to do this trip and i waited over an hour with my phone. It was really frustrating as it was getting colder. 2. We had no recourse to negotiate with taxi and cost amount to 250 to 300 rm which is very huge! We had to pay eventually 250 RM. all drivers says huge traffic because of chinese holidays.. 3. I would recommend you to do booking/arrangement for transport else there will a huge frustration building up and bargaining like a dog with the drivers there.. 4. Remote places don’t work well with Grab.. please bear in mind.

    Shopping in the Highlands
Generally a lot of the regular outlets brands are located here. Certain brands have very good discounts and some not. Do take a good look and spot the better deals here. A good mix of food selection options here for your lunch or dinner after the hectic shopping. Overall, prices here are cheaper that the malls up in the Highlands.

    Shopping with a view
The complex was quite huge and connected to Awana SkyWay Station. The scenery was good and the weather was a bit cooler than KL. There are many transportation options to get here, but the bus from and to KL Sentral can be the best option. You can also consider to rent a car if you are travel with children. For the deals, make sure you do some research about the things or brands that you aim to buy before coming here because some stores offer good deals, but some offer higher prices than their regular stores do.

Offer lots of bargains but very crowded on weekends. Queues are long in almost every shop. Signage poor, difficult to locate the information counter. The lady Z at the info counter is very unfriendly , rushing to finish her job and answer enquires half heartedly.

I made this trip having heard how good GPO is over JPO. it is smaller than JPO but definitely a more comfortable cooler form of shopping unless the crowd becomes unbearable.

A definite setback is RM4/hour parking during weekends. Another setback is the throng of cars going up to genting during the weekends. Sad for them. That could be the reason why the outside air up in genting resorts smell of diesel

Great variety. I visited so many stores as much as I can. The stores I visited were Victoria/s Secret, Cotton on, Cotton on Body, chocolate store and Padini outlet store. Some of the stores were offering discounted prices at the time I visited the mall.

It's nice to walk around in a cooling weather. We enjoyed ourselves just walking around and looking at things. I would recommend to start visit in the morning around 10-11am as it does get a little packed towards the afternoon. There are plenty of brand outlets to check out (might get a bit tiring) but if you know what you're looking for, it helps!

They DISCRIMINATE! Sooo bad!! Bad customer service! They keep the general public out and it has become a private club they choose who they let in. They require immunization without allowing natural immunity. They don’t know about health and the most recent scientific studies. They keep closed even when the nation has opened its borders to all. They deserve to be shut down or change management. We talked the manager and he discriminates against women. He won’t even look them in the eyes.

Takes about 1.5 hours to reach from Kuala Lumpur city by car. Go on a weekday would not be too crowded. Parking is plenty. Lots of eateries, food stalls and restourants to to choose from.

There are not many high exquisite brand outlets available and price diffrential is minimal. There are clothings, handbags, jewery, watches, footwears and almost any items needed are available at this premium outlet. The most notable big diffrential discount brand is SASA outlet which product price is having good discounted price compare to boutique stores for cosmetics and personal grooming products.

Do bring along your Genting Highland membership card along if you have one. Some outlets give Genting reward points for your purchases which could be exchange for free hotel rooms with these points.

You would need at more than half a day to slowly stroll through all the outlets. Do bring along a sweater as can be pretty chilly at times especially rainy days.

Rained the whole time I was there.
Quite difficult to navigate because the walkways were partially blocked by queues of people waiting outside the shops (because only a limited number of people were allowed inside the shop - everybody else must wait outside)

There is social distancing in the shops but not outside. Like I said, there were people queueing up and people walking by while trying to keep under cover as well.

And why is it that all smokers designated zones have the best views? Non-smokers don't seem to get the same privilege.

This place is huge, has many branded outlets as expected, many of them on discounted prices. Restaurants are good enough and have many options.
But it will be good to know the prices before slipping into the queue (for some stores).
Need to wear comfortable shoes/sandals as to stroll all the outlets might takes more than 2 hours.
