- bookmuseumtravel122 contributionsGood ticketing systemThis is the station to ride the cable car from Genting Premium Outlet and the last destination for a single trip will be at Genting SkyAvenue. Here you can buy the cable car ticket from the ticket kiosks, but buying it online is a way better option because you can go straight to the gate by showing the booking barcode from your phone, no prints needed. Keep in mind that sometime the return ticket is cheaper than 2 one-way tickets. Prepare for long queue at the weekend, but it usually doesn't take much time for everyone to wait for their turn to hop in the cable car.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 23, 2024

- Nene JPerth, Australia140 contributionsA view from the clouds!!Views from way above in the clouds, giving you an amazing view of the world below. Catch the gondola from Genting Highlands down to the outlets. Travel in style and take a seat, and see the clouds floating past at the top of the ride. EASY to get tickets one way or return.Visited June 2024Traveled with friendsWritten June 15, 2024
- fajaradiarthaJakarta, Indonesia4,465 contributionsCable car experience to Genting HighlandsThe most exciting way to travel to Genting Highlands. The cable car goes uphill to Genting Highlands and serves us outstanding view of the hills surrounding it. The line can be very crowded during peak hours, it's best to arrive early to minimize time wasted on the queues. Our cable car trip back down to premium outlet was so empty we get the whole car to ourselves!Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten November 22, 2024
- 🇮🇩Hartonoswanopati🇮🇩Tangerang, Indonesia2,203 contributionsGood service. The car parking area at Awana station is large and there is no need to worry about running out of parking. Just scan the ticket and the officer directly arrange the contagious line. The peak season takes 50 minutes from check-in to gondola. But it didn't feel long, because the line kept moving. Photo of the officer's report can be redeemed MYR 100.Visited December 2024Traveled with familyWritten December 25, 2024

We had an amazing experience at this place. You have both the options for the skyway i.e. glass floor and without glass floor. If you are going for the first time i would suggest you to go for Glass floor, the price is little higher than the non-glass floor but the view you will see is unmatched.
We went to this place on a Sunday, so as expected it was little crowded and there was queue for tickets as well. However, you can go to self booking counter which is easy and usually less crowded.

First time taking a cable car to Genting! I would say what a memorable experience. It was foggy towards the top but the view up was spectacular! I would recommend buying an express ticket (it costs only RM6 more than a standard) as the queue is almost not existent on express. Standard queue was really long and I believed waiting time was more than 45 mins! We bought the express ticket and immediately boarded the cable car!

The Awana Skyway connects the shopping center at the bottom of the mountain, located in the commune of Bentong, to the Genting Skyway complex and resort at the top of the mountain. Inaugurated in 2006, the gondola is modern.
There are several possible prices for the ascent, starting from RM10 to RM35 for example if you take a cabin with a glass floor. The latter allows you to enjoy the breathtaking view as you go up and down the ride.
A stop at Chin Swee cave temple is included in the price; you can therefore stop there and take a cabin to go up to the summit. You then have free time up there to enjoy what is available to you.
The view is extraordinary, especially on a clear day (rather at the end of the day, if it rains in the morning), and the cable car saves you the winding climb that winds along the mountain.
The staff is friendly, welcoming and everything is well signposted and laid out so you know which queue you should take. There are several depending on the category you choose (express, simple, glass floor, etc.). The journey takes approximately 15 minutes from Lower Station to Genting Skyworld.

This is the most efficient and economical way to travel between the Genting Premium Outlets Shopping Mall and the Genting Mall on the peak of the mountain. A 2-way ticket costs only RM18 per person, whereas a 1-way ticket costs RM10 per person. And you get to enjoy the scenery along the way. Highly recommended!

Fun experience for the kids. It is also a good access for people staying at Genting and wanting to do some shopping at the Genting Premium Outlets.
If you can afford it, I say top up the extra and go for the priority tickets if you see a crowd Q-ing to get on, Our fellow travelers bought the regular tickets and waited more than an hour to get onto a cable car while we were whisked through.

Awana SkyWay is the same as Genting SkyWay. It’s a cable car what they call it Tram, it takes you 10 minutes ride down to the Outlets with a stop at Chinese Temple for free. You can book the tram with bottom glass cabin for extra cost if you are more brave, but not in a rainy day like us. Awesome view all the way up and down.

If you are traveling from KL by express bus, this attraction is pretty much a forced experience. They'll drop you and pick you up from the lower station and you must traverse the skyway to get to the resort. This is a perfectly fine and reasonably priced skyway otherwise. The views of the Buddhist temple and SkyWorlds are particularly nice, but there's nothing else that makes this better than other sky rides around the world. Another point of note is the frequent cloud cover here. The trip down was completely shrouded in clouds with a visibility of about 10 feet. Not much one can do about that, but just a point to note. You'll probably do this because you have to and it's a pleasant trip.

Short but wonderful ride with beautiful views all around. The cable car ride has long queues when busy especially during the weekend. Buy the express ticket at RM16 (SGD$5 / USD$3) to avoid the long queues. A great ride to enjoy for couples and families.

Took the gondola ride to the Premium Outlet. Was an amazing experience with good scenery along the journey. The ride was smooth and you won't feel much of the bumps when it reaches a pylon.
Recommended for people who goes to Genting Highlands to take the ride. One trip costs RM9, while a return to-and-fro trip costs RM16.
