This was by far the best quad experience I've ever had. We decided to do a four hour tour, going around Mt Etna, seeing old volcanic rock and amazing scenery. Describing this does not do it justice. One must experience it first hand

The whole experience was fantastic, on powerful quad bikes with an excellent and knowledgeable tour leader in Alessandro, it was 3 and a bit hours of excellent fun and interesting sightseeing up etna.

Would do again and again and again!

One tip to travellers is to find meeting point, go to Linguaglossa, then follow signs to Etna Nord up the volcano, you will eventually, after 15-20k, come to a roadside restaurant, called Refugio Alpino Ragabo .. This Is it .. And also the lunch menu there is very nice so arrive an hour or so before the tour to eat first.

We took the 3.5 hours tour and it was just amazing! Sometimes the terrain was not easy and gave a great feeling riding the vehicle off-road with the mountain wind blowing through your hair. The guide was professional: showed interesting sites (craters, caves, blocked roads after volcanic explosions) and gave a good explanation about places we visited. Highly recommended for everyone!

I booked some weeks before our trip to Sicily based on the positive reviews here, and we are very happy we did. We booked the 3-hour Etna adventure and we were not disappointed!

Allessandro is easy to communicate with so we came well prepared (don't forget a jacket and tight fitting sunglasses for the dust).

The ride itself was super fun! Really really nice riding around on the Etna and through the forest trails. Alessandro is a good guide, but above all a very nice guy, always smiling and he made it a real fun experience!

Just book it, you won't be sorry, it was the highlight of our sicily trip!

Would certainly book again!!

I've never had so much fun on a trip, easily the best thing you can do to visit the Etna! Alessandro, our guide, was very friendly and helpful, and the route (we took a half day trip) was phenomenal.
The only thing you have to take into account is the dusty track- even with sunglasses on I got some dust in my eyes, but all in all well worth it!

I really enjoyed our half day trip as we visited some interesting places. The road is quite bumpy most of the times but you can also speed up from time to time so it's a lot of fun :)

However, if you are more about exploring Etna and less about driving quad then I think shorter trip would be better. At the end we were really tired and I think you would see just as much in 1,5h trip but you would simply drive less through the woods.

Additionally, they should really use helmets with some small windshield and maybe some pieces of cloth to cover your face as the road is very, very dusty!

Alesandro sei bravo! We had a great guide, who took the time to explain the geographical nuances of the mountain. Good equipment and a great value.
Describe the structures created by eruptions and lava flows.
Very well planned, and very informative. Took us to as far as we were allowed to travel, due to it being an active volcano. (1800 Meters)
Easy to get find. Restaurant on site and some of the greatest gift shops with VERY unique 'Etna Only' items.

We booked this ATV tour after finding it on Trip Advisor and thought it would be a fun way to see Mt.Etna that was different from the tour buses. Oh yeah! It was incredible. We had descent quads... Polaris 330 which were older but did the job. The trails were great.. A bit dusty but that's expected on a quad. Wear jeans and bring a sweatshirt that you don't mind getting very dusty. Bring a change of clothes for after. We saw vistas and places cars can't go. An awesome cave made from a tunnel of lava. Great views of Mt Etna. We stopped at the visitors center and for some souvenirs (bring a backpack if you plan to do that.)

Our guide was awesome. Very knowledgable of the area and kept a perfect speed for us. I'm an expert rider but I rode with one novice and we all did great.

This is a must do if you go to Mt Etna.
