About
On the eastern side of the Etna volcano, in the woods of the National Park and facing the sea of Taormina, the Gambino vineyards are a pleasure for your senses and for your heart. A Pleasure for your sight, because they represent one of the best models of Etna vineyards of high altitude: in an exclusive natural environment, at 800 meters above sea level, the vineyards lay on sunny and airy terracing that have a breathtaking panorama. A pleasure for your sense of smell, for the unmistakable perfumes of the volcano vegetation. A pleasure for your heart, because the vineyards and wine are great passion that, for over twenty years, involves and guides the Raciti Gambino family.

We have done the wine tasting a few times now and this is by far the best winery for such activities. The wine is amazing, the food they serve to go along with the wine is very tasty, the atmosphere and the views are amazing and they serve very generously!

I would put this on my "MUST DO" list if in the area. On the slopes of Mount Etna.

We visited around lunch time and enjoyed a wonderful tasting.

I ended up buying several bottles and some of their olive oil. The nice thing: they have a distributor in the U.S., so shipping is not astronomical.

We had a fantastic time at Gambino. We did the full tasting menu, which included local products, cheeses, salamis, olives, eggplant, etc. We tried one white, one rose and three red wines, two of which we purchased after. Unfortunately Mt. Etna was erupting that day, so the lovely view was blocked by cloud and ash, but that has nothing to do with the winery itself! Our server was very nice and informative. I would definitely go back!

This was the best wine tour experience in Sicily so far! Gambino winery is a very beautiful place with an excellent service to its customers. Stefano, our sommelier is a very knowledgeable guy - thank you Stefano! We had the full wine tasting menu, which consisted of 4 different wines, a platter full of cheese, couscous salad with grilled peppers, grilled aubergine, olives and sundried tomatoes, different types of salamis and sausages from the near farms, and also desert (sicilian cannoli). We managed to meet the owners as well. Thank you to all the staff at Gambino vini! I really recommend this winery.

After walking up to the winery from Linguaglossa we felt we deserved some good wine. Not only had we good wine, but also the food and the entire experience was amazing! People were so knowledgable and friendly, and the Gambino family was so friendly! Definitively looking forward to going back!

Our favorite winery of the trip. We got the full meal for 32 euros and they were not messing around!! 6 different wines, one or two olive oils and lots of food. If you are veggie let them know, they have options for you. Dragon wine was our fav. This is big winery with lots of folks at tables but you always get a private table and once they tell you about the wines they leave you alone to enjoy the and the food. You can also get a short 10 minute tour if you'd like. They have wine for sale and t-shorts (tshirt only 10 euros). The shipping options weren't great but if you buy wine to go the prices are great.

The Gambino Vini is unique. We were met in the parking lot by Francesco Racit, the owner of the winery. He gave us a brief background of the winery and led us into the tasting room, where we sampled some Rossos, some Rosatos and some blancos. Each wine was accompanied by foods that complimented the unique taste Various members of the winery management discussed the qualities and nuances of each f the wines. During the tasting, I had told Sr. Raciti hat I was interested in a more in depth introduction to his wines. He and I then went into anther room where e allowed me to taste some of the older and some of the younger vintages. When we returned to the tasting room, he asked my wife an a few other people tp accompany him to the basement to see how the wines were aged.
I became a true believer of the wines of this family owned boutique winery

We went over a year ago but I enjoyed the wine people and the wine was fabulous and we continue to have the wine shipped to our house through the wine club.

Fabulous trip, so good we bought 5 x cases and they were shipped home in a week. The wine tasting was generous, the food delicious, the tour interesting and the shopping easy! Difficult times for Gambino with reduced numbers of visitors due to the pandemic but that means great attention for those lucky ones who can get there.
