Interessante architettura moderna , all'interno affreschi di episodi biblici . Molto bello il grande affresco dietro l'altare maggiore .

Siamo andati a visitare questa chiesa, dall'alto della collina della rocca Malaspina, siamo stati attratti dalla sua architettura particolare e dalla sua cupola protesa verso l'alto. E' una chiesa moderna slanciata verso l'alto con grandi aperture al fianco della cupola che la illuminano naturalmente durante il girono. L'interno è molto spazioso dominato dall'altare sulla parete di fondo con il grande crocifisso che risalta. Ai lati di quella che potremmo definire la navata centrale ci sono delle colonne a base quadrata che sorreggono il soffitto e la cupola. Lungo le pareti laterali sono presenti dipinti tratti dalla bibbia.
Alla sinistra dell'ingresso, molto particolare l'opera in marmo di Carrara "Orma divina" in una teca.

Non avevo mai visto una chiesa così brutta in vita mia.
La struttura è interamente con cemento a vista, grezzo, grigio e dall'aspetto rozzo e grossolano.
L'architettura moderna è tutt'altra cosa, mi spiace.

La facciata principale è caratterizzata da una serie di colonne che si aprono a ventaglio con la statua di San Sebastiano sulla sommità. Grossa cupola, che svetta inconfondibile e corpo architettonico estremamente imponente. All'interno interessante ciclo di affreschi su episodi biblici ed evangelici iniziato dal pittore Dino Cellini interrotti per quanto riguarda la navata destra a causa della morte dell'artista, e ripresi a distanza di anni da altri artisti.
Bellissimo l'enorme affresco dietro l'altare maggiore che rappresenta in modo vivido, sia per colori, che per immagini,Il Giudizio Universale, diviso a metà da un crocifisso bronzeo.
