Beautiful viewpoint at the end of Ribadesella. We walked up from the waterfront with its lovely murals and enjoyed plenty of wonderful views along the way.
At the top there is a chapel and awe inspiring views of the town, beach and rocky shoreline on the other side. Beautiful.

A walk along the seafront leads to fairly steep steps, not of the unfit. The hermitage is now used as a small church and you can look into it through a window in the door. Wonderful views across both the town and bay reward you for the climb.

Ribadesella stroke us for this pleasant walk along the estuary that connects the town river to the ocean. The first part of the walk is dotted with interesting myths and legends about the local culture and history; then a short and easy climb leads you up to this pretty spot where you can enjoy nice views of the town, on one side, and the ocean on the other.

This is one of the most old fashioned attractive quirky little coves I have ever been too! Even though it was not particularly nice weather you just had to go out and explore. One end of the cove is cut off by rocks and crashing waves (when the tide is in of course which it does before you know it so don't get caught out), and on the other side there are quite a lot of steps that take you to the top of the hill where the views are amazing and there is a very small church which, unfortunately, is not accessible but you can peer through the windows if you try hard!!

This is a gentle walk in either direction, either way ends in the Old Town where the Bars and Restaurants are. The views over the Town are good and there is a lovely view of the cliffs from the top. Unfortunately the Chapel is always locked but you can pear in through the window.

We walked to the Ermita along the beautiful promenade then up the stairs at the end. At the top you have views of the rocky shore line as well as the best over views of the town and beaches. We took the path along the top back to town.
A lovely walk with great views - a must visit place in Ribadasella.

We walked up the steep steps - safe & easy to pass, and came to a beautiful Chapel (closed) at the top. The real treat was the glorious view of the most gorgeous town of Ribadesella. We just happened upon this place and were just awestruck by its beauty. It had a beautiful safe beach, small marina, lovely restaurants and town, parking was easy & plentiful. You should all go here.

It was a lovely walk up around the headland to the chapel, which was closed, sadly. Beautiful views to the sea, to the mountains, to the town of Ribadesella and to the river Sella itself.

This is the worth the walk for the view of Ribadesella. The church at the top was closed but you could peak inside and it looked beautiful.

It is a lovely walk with great views of Ribadesella, the beach, and the river. The hermitage seems to be still used, but as a little church. It's difficult to see much through the windows, but all is revealed, if you use the museums setting on your camera. Cannons used to repel the French are still in position.
