This is a beautiful beach in a nice bay. There were several surfers in the sea taking advantage of the good surf. The promenade is about 1.5 km long and has several nice restaurants along its length, but no enough to spoil it. A great find. Well worth a visit!

One of the best beaches in Asturias. In the middle of summer can be busy but it is a great place to enjoy the sun and during the evening go to one of the many bars in Ribadesella and have a cider and some finger food near the sea. it is a very lively beach and village.

We explored the older fishing town first and then drove across the bridge. It was a gloriously sunny evening, around 7 o'clock and we saw the beach at its best - not too busy, so we were able to park. We walked along the promenade and admired the late 19th/early 20th architecture of the mansions built by traders returning from the Americas, many now converted to hotels. I had never been here before so, for me it was a great discovery. I can see why people come here for holidays, as a contrast to the huge resorts elsewhere in Spain.

This is one of the nicest beaches I have visited. The promenade is also beautifully lit up at night so you can go for a moonlit walk. A definite must-see if in Ribadesella for a day!

This is a beautiful beach with a beautiful promenade. Its great to walk along the promenade to see all the old houses and hotel. There are notice boards giving information about these house. It really is a very interesting walk. The railing are painted blue and white and looks so clean and fresh.
