A short walk from the Plaza Ducal, this is a smaller but picturesque plaza. At the end are a row of arches through which are great views of the surrounding countryside.

You just feel transported back several centuries- do NOT miss going to Plaza Santa Clara! Really quaint places to dine or have a glass of wine surrounding it as well.

We wandered down to the Plaza de Santa Clara from the Plaza Ducal. The archways look out onto the countryside and a school and a swimming pool. There are shady seats where you can sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.

The place for a view. A little town in your route from Madrid to Bordeaux near Burgos. Lerma is a recommended stop in the highway.
