So, we visited on one of the public holidays and as we travel back from Balik Pulau side, we decided to search in foursquare and found that there was a toy museum nearby. As we've not been to one before, we took the opportunity to explore. Ticket is a little on the high side per person. Still, we went ahead.... More

Went to the Penang Toy Museum today and I must say if I had 120,000+ toys (worth $20 million AUD) I'd display them a bit differently - maybe make sure they're all standing up (and hire someone to dust the place at least once a year). On a positive note, the place was air-conditioned...

Tickets are expensive and the place was not well maintained. Not worth going at all as the place was also rather small.. Is a boring place

I went here the 1st time in early 2014 or 2015, i cant remember. I enjoyed every second of it. I stayed for 2 hours. Taking pictures of all the toys in it. My favourite is the barbie and dragonball section. It was well organized. Im so amazed. Then i went again with my lil cousin this year, trying to... More

The tickets are expensive for a tour will not take more than 30 minutes, not all my carton heros were there Although the museum employees claims that they have more than 120k toy. Bathroom was not clean, some toys were left there on the transparent cabinets for years, I saw some spiders inside it Beside all this the neons above... More

We enjoyed every minutes and seconds. Most of the toys were the resemblance of our childhoods so we felt young again. Some of the toys were poorly displayed especially those below on third and fourth shelves because no one will bend over and bother about them. Too bad we can't touch the realistic wax dolls because they are all behind... More

Impressive collection of toys. Had a great time looking at the collection from Toy Story to Star Wars. Barbies, Star Trek, WWII figures etc and in the comfort of air conditioning. So toy collectors this is your place to check out.

The Good: The Toy museum has a lot of toy collections, The Bad - The way the toys are displayed poorly. To me it feels more like cabinets of a Toy hoarder than an enthusiast. - if you have visited places like AMCORP Mall PJ with their toy collection, you missed nothing here. and you paid nothing to view the... We visited this Museum, after picking up a glossy leaflet from tourist information. The front of the premises was very scruffy which should have given us a clue as to what lie ahead. When offering the advertised price to enter the museum,we were told by a very abrupt lady that as we were foreigners we would have to pay considerably more... More
