The Tibetan market, also called as Bhotia market, of Nainital is one of the most popular street markets in town. The market is located surrounding the banks of Naini lake and adjacent to the Naina Devi temple. Due to its central location, it is perfect destination for street shopping. Wide varieties of winter wears like shawls, sweaters, mufflers, bags and other souvenirs and Tibetan food are available here.

A perfect place for quick shopping, the range of products available is completely different. Be it clothes, perfumes, showpieces every thing is available. Please ensure negotiating before buying any product.

Tibetan Market in Nainital is a vibrant and colorful shopping destination that offers a wide range of merchandise, including clothing, accessories, and handicrafts. The market is known for its unique Tibetan-style clothing and jewelry, all available at affordable prices. Visitors can also find a variety of handicrafts, including woolen shawls, carpets, and pottery. The market's bustling atmosphere and friendly vendors make it a delightful place to shop and explore. Additionally, the market's location near Naini Lake offers visitors breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and scenery. Tibetan Market Nainital is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique shopping experience and a taste of Tibetan culture.

The market is called Tibetan but most of the items here are expensive by Mumbai standards. All the shopkeepers have king sized egos and attitudes and not helpful at all. The hawkers who line the street which comes to the market are much better and give good service.

Cannot be much said as an attraction even worth a look around.

Shop alcoholics paradise ! One can purchase pyjamas ,tops ,jackets ,mufflers , antiques , souvenirs ..... at affordable range .We picked Pyjamas for Rs 350 which are priced in Greater kailash, Delhi ,as Rs1000. There are many restaurants which are selling food items at affordable range and are hot favorites with tourists .You should have few hours to explore the place .Both Tibetan Market and Bhootia Market are adjoining each other .They say lot many things are from Thailand but there is no way to confirm it .We picked mufflers for RS 350 , really good ones from shop called Wangdi in Bhootia market .Most of the shops have similar stuff ,they say they have fixed price but if you are a good bargainer you can decrease the amount by 50 or 100 depending upon the item. Uttrakhand has recently built public convenience system in the market ,which you can use after paying Rs 5 .This was built on tourist demand as open urination is banned . Similar one is built on Mall road .These are a boon as tourists leave hotels in the morning and go back only in the night.

Its a small usual type of Tibetan market. Nothing exotic or exceptional.
Woollens and bags can be bought from here. But Mall road market is more interesting and offers variety than the Tibetan market
Maggi served at small outlets is very good. Must try

Its doable with mall road. Not a must visit but good to spend some time in eve and if one wish to buy some woolen items. Like other woolen markets, it has nothing spacial to offer.

Bhotia Market or Tibetan Market has a lots of shops selling garments and other stuff. Don't forget to bargain here as they ask too much for the stuff. Don't forget to eat at Sonam restaurant in the market.
