More
La Bodega de las Estrellas (the winery of the stars, former Bodegas Dionisos) is nearly 200 years old and testifies the succession of four generations of vintners. As Spanish's organic agriculture pioneers, our vines are cultivated in harmony with the environment allowing the synthesis of aromas, flavours and antioxidants that grape is then storing under its skin. We are using centenarian amphorae (tinajas) in an elaboration as simple and natural as the wine itself. They provide a unique character for the wines and soften their tannins. Moreover, we practice fermentation by means of grape's wild yeasts only, to let wines express their origin: terroir, fruit and traditional processes. Our sunny lands provide Tempranillo variety with a perfect maturity and permit the natural creation of fruity aromas and flavours. Natural wines full of vitality and without any additive which reveal the natural characteristics of this charnel, juicy and fruity variety. Natural character and quality are our priorities; we do not have much interest for new technologies. This concept reflects the passion and love we put in winemaking.

We visited this Bodega as part of an organised tour and it was a great little family-owned winery, tucked away on a back street. A very informative tour followed by a lovely lunch and very nice wine in the central courtyard. Really good to see...More

We appreciated very much our visit to the Bodega. Dionisos was passionnate by ecological wine culture, looking for the naturality of the wines, without additives and based on the rhythm of the moon. This vinification process make wine of great quality, particularly the white wine....More

This is a must for anyone visiting the region. Passion from the owner about his product and the methods he uses. Ecological wine with a twist of astrology. Ok so it's a little expensive but quality costs! !! If you want cheap off the shelf...More
