This was a proper test of golf. The greens are true fair and fair, the fairways just wide enough and the bunkers were challenging. The waste ground either side of a number of fairways made it all the more interesting. The only downside is that...More

We played in Feb 2017. The weather was glorious and we got to play a fantastic course. Probably one of the best links courses in Europe. The Trent Jones design is tricky and testing but a lot of fun. Every hole is unique and offers...More

One of my favourites, and acclaimed as one of Europe's best, this Trent Jones Senior design is an unique challenge. Pine needles and sandy areas add significantly to the challenge of this beautiful seaside golf course to which the European PGA Tour declined to return...More

This course was the second we played on our tour. The course had a great lay out but was in need of a bit of cosmetic work. But still an enjoyable day

It's not often you have to catch a ferry to play a round of golf! Caught the ferry from Setubal to Troia and then a 5 minute drive to the course. Hired clubs, a buggy and a green fee and although this was expensive the...More

Be prepared for humiliation on the first 9. It will get better on the second 9 and especially hole 18 from white is a beauty.

I think it would probably take you an hour and a quarter to include the ferry. You have to get to Setubal which is where the ferry goes from to the tip of the narrow peninsula opposite which has the golf course.
