About
Corfu Dive Club is located in the touristic area of Gouvia on the main road to the North. Founded in 2010 in Corfu, in order to bridge the gap that existed on the island about all modern forms of the recreational diving activities. So in light of the complete satisfaction of our customers divers can meet their every desire for any form of diving in the standards and prosedures of the major diving organizations such as PADI, ANDI, IANTD, etc. All this, however, always by following all safety rules and coverage of the most famous diving insurance organization DAN+ in which we are active members.

My wife and I had a great time on Monday and really enjoyed the beginners experience. (We have done a couple of dives before but so long ago we needed a complete refresh.) Very clear instructions and one to one supervision underwater so very safe & reassuring. They were so patient with us as mastering your buoyancy takes a bit of practice but everything is done in stages to build you up to the actual dive. We saw lots of fish, starfish and urchins so really interesting. Will definitely go back and take our kids next time. We thought it was very reasonably priced. I would recommend taking cash and credit card as the signal for payment can be a bit hit or miss due to the location. Really enjoyed their company and they were kind enough to tell us so much about Corfu which was great. Safe, fun & looking forward to doing it again next year!

Demitris and Earnesto really mad this holiday dive a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Whilst both my son and I are qualified advanced divers, we only really dive when on holiday. The team at Corfu Dive Club made us feel safe from the off, quickly got us back into competent diving and then took us on 4 lovely dives. The equipment is clearly well maintained; the experience of Demitris is self evident and we found that the balance of "dive stories", history and information (and pride) in Corfu and then serious focus on dive safety was perfectly in balance. The dive site used was agile and provided 4 good dives and Demitris has access to a network across Corfu if you want to dive further afield. Finally, at 50€ per dive, I think you will find it difficult to find better value for money diving anywhere on Corfu.
I should add a final co.ment for those beginners out there: I think Demitris is a natural teacher and coach: he WILL tell you how to improve: so I would expect that the courses provided from Open Water to all the activity diving courses will be excellent.

Very friendly and professional farther and son instructors. Me and my wife completed an open water dive course in 4 short days. We were both nervous to begin with and by day 4 we were both competent and confident enough to dive within a group in a safe manner. There was absolutly no rush and the son was very patient and reasurring through out. We both highly recommend this dive club.

Absolutely amazing experience, Dimitris and Ernesto were so friendly and professional. They took care of us and made us feel safe and confident throughout the experience. The diving itself was a very special experience as Dimitris had clear passion and was brilliant at pointing out all the flora and fauna so that we didn't miss anything. Also very easy to get to from old town - 15 min bus.

unfortunately I have nothing good to say, except that the owner's son was very nice and helpful.
The spot they took us to was an abandoned hotel where you have to walk with your bags uphill and back.
The sites were a bit better than diving in a pool, not much to see. The worst part is the owner's rudeness and attitude. They also don't accept cash, and don't warn you about it.
I felt that I wasted my money, as I later found out that they do have other sites they take you to.

Super friendly father/son duo, they take the time to talk to you and get to know you and make sure you're getting the best experience. They're very professional and well certified. Its also great value for money costing only €60 each and we got just under and hour in the water with everything included in the cost!

I found this dive club by accident after a change of hotel. It's friendly and very professional. I had not dived for many years so was a little apprehensive but Dimitrios & Ernesto were very patient and understanding and after checking my padi certification gave me a full refresher before the dive. The dive was wonderful and has given me back full confidence. Do not hesitate to use these guys. Jon Govino Bay Apts.

From the outset I want to make it clear this was my fault, after a few minutes I should have walked away.
The Corfu Dive Club is a small shed situated within the grounds of the Blue Princess Hotel Liapedes Corfu and is run by a father and son with apparently no other staff. The son was quite a nice bloke who took our booking (and money) in a friendly fashion but was unable to make decisions in his fathers absence.
My 12yr old son and I returned the following day with our BSAC cards and log books indicating that since qualification we had completed four dives in the open sea the last being some six months previously. I explained that while we had the requisite qualification we were far from experienced divers but had completed a couple of cave dives and one drift.
I had taken along a small mouthpiece for my son's regulator complete with a couple of cable ties and asked if we could fit it to the school's equipment as he found adult kit uncomfortable. That's where the problems started, my request was met with a flat refusal and the assertion that all mouth pieces were the same. Next we were faced with yoke attachments rather than the DINs we had previously used - I could put it together but the time taken was obviously a frustration, then the octopus was set for mounting on the right shoulder rather than left hip (as we were used to) and by this stage the owner had suffered a complete sense of humor failure. There was a discussion between father and son about wet suits - the younger proffering 5mm but the father for some reason insisting on 3mm - he the went off to swim for his boat, a rib that needed inflating before we set off.
There followed a briefing but no opportunity for buddy check before we entered the water. No surface cover or emergency advice. Said water was 18 degrees and after a few minutes I was feeling the cold (don't forget the 12yr old) after 20 I was freezing.
My son had taken a camera which for some reason seemed to irritate our host but nowhere near as much as my disinterest in a 3 inch stalactite in the cave we had gone to explore. By this stage I was shivering and only had thought for getting back to the boat and out of the water, I tried to explain the situation but the world's most impatient instructor in 5mm suit and hood did not want to know.
On the return swim I was exercising as much as possible to combat the cold and using air like a fool, my son was visibly distressed. Fortunately we returned unscathed but I have to say I was so cold it took a great effort to remember how to take fins off. Fair to say our host decided the cold was not an issue and that we should take a PADI course with him.
This was one of the worst experiences I can recall in recent years but as I said earlier it was all my fault. Be warned though, this is not a professional set up and unless you are really proficient and have taken not of conditions or have your own equipment, I'd really look around for somewhere else to dive.

Father and Son Dive Operation - Highly Recommend for Small Group Diving near Corfu Town. Dimitris picked us up at our hotel (10E pp, but very worth it for convenience), and took us on 2 dives. The scenery was stunning and he took us to see a very cool underwater cave. The beach where you dive from is beautiful as well. Price is also extremely reasonable, and they are PADI certified.
One thing to note is you do have to do quite a bit of preparation, since Dimitris drops you off at the beach, and then has to get the boat (his son stays with you). Not a big deal but the 2 dives ended up taking from about 9AM till 3PM... a full day!

Managed four one to one dives with Dimitirios and he was very helpful and professional. Took me to some stunning sites. Was very happy with the quality of service and the friendliness of his small operation. Would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him to fellow divers.

Hi everybody, any suggestion about the diving spots? Any reccomendation? I will be in Corfu at the end of july and have only 1 day for diving, just trying to get best out of it. Thanks in advanced.
