We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Aquensis relaxing in the large spa under the cathedral pillars & then retreated to the rooftop jacuzzi. Bought a 2 hour pass for approximately €17 each which was plenty of time to relax in this peaceful place. We wore our swimwear & took our own towels. The change rooms are clean & well organised.

Spent a relaxing couple of hours bathing in natural thermal springs from the Pyranese mountains in a beautiful old building. Beautiful spa, with saunas etc.

Great 2 hour tickets with reduction for seniors (take costume and a towel with you and maybe flip-flops). Two downstairs pools and a hammam facility which is a must try. The large pool has many jets etc. and a wall of water which is attendant controlled. Great fun and upstairs there is a terrace with two jacuzzis and 2 sauna rooms. Public parking just across the road - about €1 for 4 hours. Really glad we visited.

We were looking for a relaxing and quiet place, and we found instead a completely overcrowded spa, full of kids yelling, and very disturbing and direcpectful people.
I was shocked of the lack of education and such behaviors.
It was 11th of November public holiday and it was unfortunately a huge mess.
Such a place shouldn't be accessible to kids under 14, except if you're able to make them keep calm and quiet, which was definitely not the case.
Not to mention the incredible amount of people talking so loudly in the saunas, hammams, everywhere!
Like if they were having a drink at the bar.
It is properly written everywhere that everyone gotta keep quiet but, nobody gives a s***.
The elevator was out of service and the stairs were completely flooding, it was very dangerous.
You guys should settle a maximum amount of people inside there, otherwise it is just spoiling the whole experience.
At least, ensure that the place remains quiet...
I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend this venue that is managed more like an amusement park than like a spa...

Nous sommes désolés de lire que votre expérience à Aquensis n'a pas répondu à vos attentes. Il est vrai que sur les jours fériés ou de vacances scolaires, la fréquentation augmente de façon importante , notamment avec l'accueil d'un public plus familial. Les enfants sont accueillis à partir de 5 ans et comme vous le précisez, un affichage sur site invite les visiteurs à respecter calme et silence. Les équipes sont sensibilisées à cette problématique et circule régulièrement sur toutes les zones. Malgré nos efforts, il n'est pas toujours aisé de lutter contre les incivilités de certains. Peut être aurez vous la possibilité de revenir sur une autre période moins fréquentée. A bientôt nous l'espérons.

I was appalled to read the comments of Angelique from Pau - especially the insulting comments about a staff member.
As a regular user of the facilities at Aquensis I can testify that it is without doubt a great asset to the region, in fact one could say a "petit coin de paradis". The staff are not only well qualified an d professional but also très sympa et poli. The classes are excellent, notably the biking and aquagym. Both my wife and I have annual abonnements, though expensive, are well worth the price for the benefits offered.
Aquensis is to be congratulated for its facilities and classes. Thank you!

We visited this place after our consecutive hiking trips . The fee in the afternoon is a little higher than the morning and evening. It has a big hot water pool, hamam, Jaccuzi, sauna. Nice clean shower areas, toilets . There is shower gel available in case you forget to carry your own. If possible carry your own swim wear, towel , shower slippers and bath robe . We were there for two hours. It's better to go for longer hours as we felt two hours were short. They also serve warm mint tea which quite nice.

Only a few days in the Pyrenees with 3 out of 4 days visiting Aquensis. What a wonderful way to finish the days. The main pool has every spa jet imaginable, then there is the music pool in which to float, 'the hamman' tops it off. Nth African influence steam room.

First view looks like a good place to rest, when you arrive at the entrance the place fits as expected, but it's a trap.
Just after you pay, when you finally pass to the dressing room the things start to get worse.
Aquensis don't have enough room to stay comfortable while you get dress, the dressing place it's a disaster, too small, too messy...
The next stop will.be the swimming pool, well, this place is the best room of the SPA, but when we were there the pool.was really crowded, so it was necessary to be quick to catch a place.
The rest of the rooms are low quality place , and if you go during the weekend, probably Aquensis will be to crowded to make you feel relax.
In addition to this, after all this deceptions when you after all go to the shower you will realize that the shower is share, and the water power it's not enough to take a comfortanble shower.
Buuuuuuut if you want run away quickly you will not be able, because it's necessary wait a few minutes to get a dress room.

Really enjoyed our 2 visits. Not too crowded. Only used the basic facilities but was very relaxing. Good price at 11euros per hour - enough to relax and chill out. It is very warm!

We have had some good times here in the past but in quieter months. Today in mid August it was much too crowded and not big enough to cope. You had to queue to use the various water jets in the one hydrotherapy pool and wait for a space in the only other small aquamusic pool. The two 8 seater jacuzzis on the roof were constantly full. There was no tea available and there was no sense of calm.
The floor in my changing cubicle was filthy with mud and two of the four hairdryers were broken. Only two ladies loos poolside.Not worth €20 per person.

Bonjour, il n'y a pas de contre indication particulière si ce n'est de veiller à ne pas diriger les jets sur le ventre. Il y a bien des zones sans remous. L'eau est entre 33 et 34°C avec un affichage de température sur panneau numérique. A bientôt.

Bonjour,
les curistes des Grands Thermes bénéficient d'un tarif préférentiel à Aquensis pendant leurs 3 semaines de cure, soit 110€ pour un accès illimité aux bassins, saunas, hammam, jacuzzis + le prêt du linge (serviette, peignoir, sandales) + l'accès à la salle de sport (cardio/muscu et cours collectifs).

Christel vous a bien renseigné, les enfants sont acceptés à partir de 5 ans. Jusqu'à 14 ans inclus ils doivent être accompagnés d'un adulte (maximum enfants sous la responsabilité d'un adulte).

proponemos el aqua pass para 1, 2 o 3 horas. Es un acceso a las picinas, las banos turcos, los saunas y jacuzzis. Se puede ver los precios en nuestro sitio internet (el precio para el aqua pass clasico de 2h es de 17.50€).

Maillot de bain je dirai.... pas besoin de bonnet et le maillot pour les hommes peut être large et long, pas besoin du modèle serré obligatoire dans les piscines publiques en France.
On peut louer des peignoirs là -bas ou simplement en emmener un, ou une serviette bien sur.
