The view is fantastic. Staying in Le Grand it is easily within walking distance - if you are in good condition. 25 minutes for a 61 year old.

Other than the view there isn´t much else to do. Recommend walking up the hill as it is a nice area to walk around

If you are in Sete you probably need to come up here to enjoy the view and get abearing of how the city is set out. Plenty ofpeople around but is still a good experience.

We took the bus and were rewarded by magnificent views over Sete and the surrounding area. There is a small chapel close by which is well worth a visit too.

I would advise finding the staircase to go up to Mont St-Clair. You will find it to the right of the Lycée Paul Valéry, but there is some way to walk up the hill before you find the stairs. We walked down the main bus route to come back, but there is another staircase just off it that we didn't try. If you come down that way you can go to the Paul Valéry museum and then walk through the cemetery where he is buried. We have also walked up that way, but it is quite a challenge, as it is very steep. There is a café at the top, but only open March to October. There is a chapel at the top, but we have not been in there. The view across Sète is good from the top, but we enjoyed the walk most of all and you can see the sea at various points and lots of lovely houses.
