What an experience! Spent a couple of hours here going back and forth to various food stalls. My favourite were the grilled gambas and grilled Camembert from La Roti Sète. Yes it is busy but be patient and a table will become available.

Love the bustling atmosphere, the games the stall holders play with each other and the great food, whether you buy it to take, or eat there - such a wide range to choose from

L'ambiance est agréable cependant la qualité du service déçoit. La serveuse et les autres employés se sont moqués de moi et ma famille, ils nous regardaient et riaient au même temps. Ils sont jamais dit merci ou créée une ambiance de convivialité. Moi je dirais,...More

We walked into les Halles de Sete relatively late (maybe 11.30) but knew immediately we had to eat some shellfish there. We secured a table and tried to figure out how things were working. The folks at the oyster stand spoke English and graciously helped...More

This Halle is a close second to Narbonne in terms of food choice. Beautiful cheeses, salads, fresh fish and shellfish from the region. It is a must for foodies. My husband ate a Corsican cured ham and cheese baguette which was large and fresh from...More
