This walking tour is a great introduction to Sete. No one in our group was familiar with Sete as a destination and this tour opened our eyes to historical, cultural, gastronomic and many other attributes of this lovely sea oriented city. We plan to return for a longer visit and do day trips using Sete as our base. Having an... More

Sete is a pretty new stop for some Mediterranean cruise ships, so it is not quite a tourist destination yet. It is still very much a working fishing town. We were so happy that we had Nancy show us her favorite gourmet treats while we were here. Many guests on our boat got off and walked around, but got right... More

We enjoyed the town and the scenery and the FOOD because Nancy was so familiar with all the intimate details of this charming off the track community. The bakery, the cheese the market-place, the wine... all were great because of her in-depth knowledge. Would go again and learn more!

Had an amazing morning with Nancy. Very interesting and full of useful historical tips. Inspite of the rain we walked around centre ville and also through Les Halles meeting and chatting to all the merchandisers and tasting their products. Beautiful fresh fruits , pork, olives, breads, octopus pie, cheeses with lots of interesting advice like cheese etiquette how to cut... More

I am originally from Sète but had a visitor from India for only a few days and wanted to have her discover the city in the best possible way. I can assert that Nancy's tour is exactly what I was looking for. Within 4 hours my guest had seen, heard, tasted, experienced in the friendliest way all that Sète has... More

Nancy's food tour of Sete is a "must" if you are a foodie and wine lover. We were collected near our cruise ship and Nancy not only gave us a history of Sete , but wonderful tastings of a traditional cake/biscuit shop, cheese shop (tasting roquefort cheese), a bakery specialising in Octopus pie (yummy), the indoor market tasting oysters (at... We were lucky enough to arrive on a Wednesday which is bustling market day in beautiful sete. Nancy collected us from our ship and we collected a second family from another ship and off we went on an amazing interesting and delicious tour. My husband and I loved the whole 4 hours and everything we tasted and I guess especially... More
