Nancy's food tour of Sete is a "must" if you are a foodie and wine lover. We were collected near our cruise ship and Nancy not only gave us a history of Sete , but wonderful tastings of a traditional cake/biscuit shop, cheese shop (tasting roquefort cheese), a bakery specialising in Octopus pie (yummy), the indoor market tasting oysters (at... We were lucky enough to arrive on a Wednesday which is bustling market day in beautiful sete. Nancy collected us from our ship and we collected a second family from another ship and off we went on an amazing interesting and delicious tour. My husband and I loved the whole 4 hours and everything we tasted and I guess especially... More

Today, I was lucky to participate in one of Nancy's Gourmet Walking Tours of Sète. It was even better than I had hoped, due to Nancy's excellent planning, local knowledge and rapport with the local traders. This is my third visit to Sète (each time I have come to stay for longer than the previous visit), and I gained a... More

Nancy is a local after only a few years in Sete, she explained that it is the kind of town where everyone is friendly, welcoming and happy to tell their story. The Absolutely Southern France tour begins with a bit of historical information on Sete, before Nancy expertly leads her group through a maze of market stands and a crowded... More

This is a great way to get to know Sete. Our guide Nancy was very informative without overwhelming us with information. The food samples were really good and we tried things we would not have tried if left on our own. This tour is definitely worth it.

The almost 4 hours flew by, Nancy the guide was fantastic! We only had 4 people on our tour so it was very personal. We fit some history of Sete a visit to the indoor markets where you sample some of the produce, then a visit to a cheese maker a bread shop, a patisserie and a wine merchant. You... More

We were lucky that no one else booked the tour today so my husband and I ended up with a private tour! We truly enjoyed the different experiences - we were introduced to a wide variety of foods of the region, ending with a delicious wine and cheese pairing. Nancy is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Sete... More

The 3 hours flew past as we sampled charcuterie, cheese, wine and so many other delicious foods. Sete is a delightful place and this tour allows you to meet the locals behind some of the most amazing produce in the region. Nancy's rapport with the locals and her passion makes you tempted to stay a while longer just to enjoy... More

My Husband and I joined a group of 4 others on the Gourmet Walking Tour of Sete. Not only did we enjoy every minute of tantalizing our tastebuds with all the different flavours of Sete, we thoroughly enjoyed the story telling and the sense of humour of Nancy. I couldn't recommend this tour more! It gives you a great insight... More
