We hiked through Komovi for few days climbing many peaks and it was amazing. You can camp anywhere and there were wild berries everywhere. Plenty of water, katuns and local people are super friendly. We climbed Stitan, Surdup, Maglic, Pesjak, Kucki Kom, Vasojevicki Kom, etc. The St Elias Church at Carine Katun is worth a see

So during my trip I stayed in The Old House in Miljanov Valley which is located in Andrijevica. It has an outstanding starting point for this hike! This hike though is my favorite hike of all hikes I've traveled. You will travel along and literally think to yourself that the views are something from a postcard. You'll travel on road, on rock, in pastures, and through woods. It is multi agricultural adventure of which I can't wait to go back and hike!

As partv of a 4X4 trip through Montenegro, we spent a day driving and hiking around the magnificent Komovi Mountain Range.
There was still some snow here and there and the Crocuses were blooming and peeking out of the snow.....Beautiful.
Everything was green with lots of flowers.
The air was cool, super clean and crisp - A pleasure to breathe!!
We loved the hike we did around the base, with the towering twin peaks looming above.
Magnificent Scenery!! Definitely a Big MUST!!!

Komovi are not that known outside of Montenegro, as some other areas, but if you like hiking (or scrambling) you won't be disappointed.
Komovi range are not particularly wide and they are formed from three main peaks. All three are unique in it's own way and worth of visit.
The highest peaks of Komovi mountain are: Kucki Kom (2,487 m), Ljevorijecki Kom (2,469 m, north peak of Kucki Kom) and Vasojevicki Kom (2,460 m).
Below Komovi at Stavna vasty plateau, you can find "Eko katun Štavna" (Ecological complex of houses for renting). Nothing fancy, but clean, simple and not expensive.

Another place where we did most was driving. Highly recommend to have a proper guide to take you around. There are lots of hikes from different direction with gorgeous views of the peaks.

Hello hikers,
we are located in the Kotor bay and would like to see the best part of the Komovi park. Can you recommend a hiking tour not longer than 4 hours and a starting point please? we are coming by car and would also like to know if you have some advice on which are the best panoramic roads to drive to the park and see as much of it by car.
We know the distance from Kotor bay is a 3 hour drive to Kolasin, but we are considering the possibility to spend one night in one of the towns in the Komovi range to make the next day a hiking day of not more than 4 hours.
Thank you.
Albertina
