A daramatically interesting comunist era structure , located in the main town square . But .... the place looks neglected and deserted . Still , worth taking photos from various angles .

With some time to burn in Kolasin we went for a stroll along the main town square. In the local supermarket we found most of what we wanted. But, as we passed the cultural center we noticed a great little shop full of what looked like handcrafted gifts.
According to the sign outside, the store should have been opened but wasn't and didn't reopen in the time were were window-shopping in the square. There was some sort of an activity at the cultural center next door and that may have had an impact on this shop. But hanging a sign would have helped relieve my irritation at not finding the establishment opened for business during posted office hours. Poor for public relations in a tourist town.

WE attended a performance of traditional folk dancing. A very energetic performance by a troupe that ranged in age from about 12 to 75. Colourful costumes and very amusing. .If you get the chance it is a must see in Kolasin.
