One need to park car in parking lot near Okha ferry terminal. The main terminal is at walkable distance of 300 meters. You can get auto as well from parking lot till terminal entrance for Rs.10 per head.

The boats keep on going and coming to Bet Dwarka. There is no limit inside boat as they normally allow as many people as they can. There is crowd inside the boat hence i would prefer standing journey as the boat ride just takes some 8-10 min. Per person ticket is Rs.20 per head

As soon as boat leaves then it is been chased by sea gulls to whom people keep throwing food which is sold at terminal. The main bet dwarka temple is situated at some 300 meter of walking distance from ferry terminal at other side.

You cannot carry mobile phones, bags inside (somehow i carried car key in pocket). Also note that the temple closes at 12:30pm and opens directly at 5pm hence plan accordingly.

It's a small island about 4/5 km in sea. A small township with a small temple dedicated to Lord Krishna where he supposedly spent his personal life while ruling his kingdom of Dwarka.
This place is supposed to be the meeting place of Lord Krishna with his childhood friend Sudama, who came with three fistful of popped rice as a gift for him.
Hence people donate rice here expecting Lord Krishna to bestow them their wishes.
The temple is reached by a ferry ride which can either be a shared common ride with hundreds of other visitors, or can be in a chartered boat for your family. The price for charter is 4500₹ to and fro. This helps in speeding up your visit, so that you can see more in less time.
The island has a small market where eatables can be bought and small memorabilia can be bought.

An ancient temple constructed where Lord Krishn met his poor friend & classmate Sudama. One has to travel in the boat to cross the sea to an island. Boat are running, I would say, at every 5 minutes with lots of rush but quite comfortable and ease. Everyone has to walk more than a kilometer to temple though Dhela is available for those who do not want to walk. A worth place to visit. It will take atleast an hour from the Okha jetty.

Ferry gets filled up like Mumbai Local trains in normal time. As an adventure lover who always weighs Risks and rewards, would certainly rate ferry ride to beyt as unsafe. Alternative hiring private boats charge exorbitant amount. We did get a better ferry on return by paying Rs 50 per person which did not take any standees, but wish there was lack info and guidance. The temple at Beyt Dwarka was too much crowded and all corona safety measures by Yatri's goes for a toss. Not a place for those looking for peace and safety. Wait till a new bridge is ready in 1/2 years.

This must do experience in Dwaraka trip was the worse part of the trip. Except for relatively cheap souvenir shopping (compared to Dwaraka), there is nothing good to mention. The boats have no governance on how many people to take, how much to charge, no proper que, too much crowing, so system of even getting in and out. It is a major disaster waiting to happen.

The temple takes hardly few min to visit, however purohits cause unnecessary crowding by holding up the ques and charge money for anything and everything. Sudhama's rice or prasad is given only after you prove you are a Brahmin!! that too for a huge cost!!
Worse of all is the board who controls the shrine doesn't even bother to offer toilet facilities for thousands who travel so far and long. The one place for toilet has not a drop of clean water!! Some one please remind them of public hygiene, the whole island is dirty, stinky and overcrowded. Temple closes between 12- 4 still boats keep dumping tourists on the island, with no public facilities, one can guess the situation.

This place is said to be a must-visit place for a devotee after he visits Dwarakadhish Temple in Dwaraka. Otherwise, the visit is considered as incomplete. Regrettably, none could tell me what does the term "beyt" mean, and which language it is. For reaching this place, one has to travel by road to Okha. One can see the island right opposite. There are scores of ferries to take loads of people to the island. The temple is about 300 meters from the jetty. It is a nice quiet temple. One can see the Idol clearly, unlike in Dwarakadhish Mandir. But, the priests here are aggressive. They are no less than extortionists. Their greed knows no boundaries. The temple needs renovation and the temple administration is raising fund for this purpose. It would be worthy cause to help.

The over all experience is really poor. Approach to the boat is dirty. The boats are poorly maintained and once has to wait till they over load the passengers. Our boat had 200 passengers against 170 numbers as certified.
The over all experience needs improvements. Very poor public conveniences. No place to keep your shoes and mobile phones , which are not allowed.
Temple is beautiful and is almost a replica of the Dwarkesh temple. If one is in a hurry the trip to beyt dwarka can be avoided !

You feel It is a very quite Temple after visiting dwarka main temple. There is no much queue you can take darshan easily. But the main problem is to get there through ferry. Because it is so crowded and unsafe . If you are traveling with children than, You should hire private ferry only even though you pay more. Common ferry is cheap but there is so much risk they do not provide any life jacket.

This is a must-visit place if you are in Dwarka but not a very good way to reach there as the ferry guys fill the boats and if you are among the last ones to board the boat you will find a place to stand with great difficulty. Now the govt is constructing a bridge which will make things easier. Also not a very clean place. The govt should look into this aspect also.
