Rampara wild life sanctuary is about 60 kms from Rajkot. To visit it we have to take permission from forest department first. Here we can see mammoth antelopes, fox, blue bull, hyena, jackals etc romming in nature. Its great experience for us. Take visit in winter to enjoy haven to the fullest.

We went there without permission from forest department, So couldn't go inside the sanctuary. You can get a permission from Rajkot or Wankaner forest department office. Place seems nice, Surrounding area is totally green in monsoon days. So it is worth a try getting permission.

Quite a big place.. you wouldn't expect near Rajkot. Its about 60-70 kms from city, on the way to vankaner. You can spot a few animals quite easily here early mornings.

The sanctuary got the status of ‘Reserve Forest’ in the year 1983. Situated near Wankaner. We can watch wolf, jackal, hyena, common fox, and blue bull. Thus, this is the good place to visit.
