this place represents what is history. I guess the name suggests that this place is related to Gandhij. This wonderful monument is Gandhiji's home from where he started freedom fighting journey and his whole youth time.

I was on vacation in rajkot and i had been there with whole family. It is my love and respect towards the father of nation Mahatma Gandhiji. Even though the place is quiet inside the streets of Dharmendra Road, the staff is very informative.

I visited this place last year.
This was a family home for Gandhiji where he spent his youth, he got married it took 12 days to reach from his home to Probandar at that time. This is a home from where he went to South Africa.
This home is a exhibits most of the event happened during his stay plus his family tree.

the hosue is nicely maintained an dtherewas aguide. BUT it is located in a very dirty street with a public urinla very near. Hard to believe that Gandhiji's house shoudl eb surrounded by debris and general filth of a small town marketplace.

This place has excellent memories of Ganghiji. Though situated in old Rajkot, its easily assessable by an Auto Ricksaw. It surely takes u back in the early 1900's

Any student or patrons who are fans of Gandhi will not be disappointed. This house turned museum is well preserved and well maintained. The place is very peaceful, and so feel free to park your vehicle at Watson Museum, and ask someone the way to "Kaba Gandhi no delo." Locals will be more than happy to tell you where it is. Along the way, you will get to see old Rajkot, jewelry area, utensil area, clothing, etc., since you'll be on foot. The streets are just like they used to be since before the Brits came to India. Do not forget to bring a camera.
