About
Spinspot' Ceramics & Pottery is a Studio owned by a woman called Aphrodite, who loves working with clay. Her work is deeply inspired by the beauty of the nature of the island so there you will find many sea'spired' creations, as she calls them, such as sea creatures, urchins, fish, sea stars and more all dressed in colours of the earth. Also many functional pottery for everyday use such as mugs, plates, bowls and many more...

A very lovely shop full of very different hand crafted products. A nice change from the usual mass produced items on sale. Purchased some mugs and plates for home, very unusual design.
As said in previous review she has a large Alsatian dog, he will give you a woof as you enter but he’s nothing to be afraid of.

Nice for presents

We visited here on our holiday and bought some lovely pieces to take back for presents for family. Lovely shop as long as you don’t mind the huge Alsatian at the front.

Best pottery on the island

Spinspot' is a must when visiting Zakynthos, you will find so many beautiful treasures you won't know what to pick...
We visit everytime we are on holiday and always come away with something special.
Aphrodite (the owner) is helpful, welcoming & is passionate about her work and is truely talented. All of her pieces have an energy about them and you will take home a little bit of Zakynthos when you leave.

Nice work but rude owner

Pretty handmade ceramics but we changed our mind buying anything (we had left to wait for our sisters reply what coulour of beads they prefer) when the owner snapped at us in a really harsh manner not to take any pictures of the shop (from outside!). I had the idea of writing a blog post about her shop and tag her on social media with her contact details but that's not gonna happen anymore. That's not a way of talking to people.

Lovely little place with unique gifts
Aug 2017 • Family
Popped in today for a little look around during our stay in Argassi - some lovely pieces and a great place for a unique gift or home piece. I got a couple of bits - a gorgeous handmade turtle and a bracelet. Whilst not the cheapest things, they really are beautiful and it's nice to know that the turtle is handmade and unique. It was also lovely to see the pottery pieces waiting to be finished. Excellent customer service from Aphrodite too. Would highly recommend!
