Spent few occasions here. Nice bar staff and great place to sit and have a quiet drink right next to the waters edge. Price was as good as most places in Argassi. Well recomended.

Thomas and Elena really make this place, very friendly, helpful and good food and the beer served in cold glasses mmmm A lovely little beach area around the corner too, shallow, clear warm water. Roll on June 2017 when we can visit again

This bar is an absolute gem. Having seen positive reviews both me, my partner and 12 year old boy paid a visit. The bar is a little out of the way down a small road at the end of the strip of shops etc.
There is a small bar area run by a super friendly couple Thomas and Elena. What really gives the beach bar it's oomph is the lovely and sizeable pool and the much bigger pool I.e the sea!
It's super cheap to hire sun beds (€2.5) for the whole day. Dip into the gorgeous warm clear sea and paddle out 30 metres up to your waist.
We spent two days here rather than our hotel pool.
Stunning all round.

This is a small beach bar tucked away down one end of the main strip in Argassi but definitely worth the trip to find it - you will just want to keep returning!!
Lovely scenery with tables right at the front near the sea and also some tables a bit further back near the bar. The tables near the bar had a litter of kittens there that were happy to play and have a fuss made of them - they belonged to the owners of the bar and they live a wonderful life with people making a fuss of them!
As it got dark, they got out large storm lamps for the ground and also smaller candles that they put on the tables - made it feel so welcoming and friendly.
The staff were lovely here, asked our names on the first night and we went back 3 days later and she straight away remembered us! Genuinely nice people who deserve the good trade!
We had cocktails, a lovely choice from a menu to choose from and these were only €3.50 each between 6-8pm during their happy hour. We visited this bar many times for a drink before we went along the strip for dinner.
When we paid our bill each night, they gave us a shot of alcohol to try - a different one each time and they were all lovely, nice to try something different too!!
On our last day, the lady handed us 2 wrapped cookies each and said they were for our flight - such a nice and unexpected touch!
Definitely try this beach bar, during the day or evening - I couldn't recommend it highly enough!!

The pool is very cloudy and needs cleaning as do the umbrellas charged @ 5 euro a day alongside two loungers and a table if your not a hotel paying guest.

Just returned from argassi, please if you are going make sure you check out mimoza beach bar it really is a little peice of paradise, so quiet and tranquil , it's got it's own pool right on the waters edge. They only charge 5 euros for 2 beds and an umberella, worth every penny for the fantastic location or just get yourself a drink and sit looking out to sea, the 2 young girls that serve there are great very polite and happy and make the best pina coladas I've ever had and believe me I've had a few. So glad we found this place as it really made our holiday special.. Thankyou

A magical view & location for drinks with service second to none from Thomas & Elena. The best beach bar in Argassi for style and setting with many people enjoying
a leisurely evening by the sea. Look forward to May & September again this year.
Pool & sun loungers for daytime - fee payable.

Great location with a pool and bar on the beach front, so best of both worlds.
Thomas and Elena one of the nicest couples you will in Argassi.
Best kept secret is Elena's toasties for a light snack. Will be visiting them again

If you come to Argassi please look out for this little beach bar. The welcome from Tomas and Elena is phenomenal. They remembered us from last year and gave us a lovely welcome drink. Sitting at the waters edge and admiring the views of Zante Town and Mainland Greece makes it very special. We came back every day as we loved the hospitality, the views, the company and of course the drinks. Can't wait to see Tomas and Elena next year.

I saw in the comments from last year that they are in a renovation program. Does anyone know if the bathrooms are renovated? They've looked pretty bad last year...
Any impressions from this year would be grate.
Thanks !

Hi David. Like you we have visited the Mimosa many times and we're hoping to go back this year. It was such a beautiful place , Thomas and Elena were such great hosts. Do you know where they are now? Are they somewhere else in Argassi?
Written May 3, 2018
They have their own beautiful bar further up the road past the green frog on the opposite side

“Hi, I'm due to marry on cameo island not the 1st of September this year, myself and friends (around 16 of us) are out during the day 31st August for my hen party! Would there be any chance of getting a table for us all on the beach around sun set for a candle lit meal?? Is this a possibility here? Thank you Jodie”

hi jodie
have a word with thomas before hand i do not think it will be possible as the mimosa beach is not a restaurant they only do snacks my suggestion would be go to freddies bar 100 yards further down which is also a lovely venue looks onto the sea with great views i think it would be a better venue for the details look at my reviews.
have a great time and do not get toooo drunk
