Followed the blessed brown signs for Mount Leinster and... got horribly lost. Second time round, however, we persevered and we're not disappointed. A beautiful clear day so you could see for miles and miles. A rare thing of beauty to behold. We relished it as the weather isn't always so kind...

What a treat to have a local bring us here during our stay. Fabulous views of valley, history connected to everywhere and be sure to stop into the grotto for a jug of mother mary water!

Mount Leinster with its drives and walks is always a great place to visit to blow away the cobwebs.
Whether you park and walk or park and sit it's worth the narrow roads to get there.

Great way to blow the cobwebs away or work of one of those amazing full Irish Breakfast we had all been having.
Try and get there before or after the mist as I am sure you will enjoy the view.

The drive up the mountain was heart thumping, but taken at a slow soeed esp. when nearing the car park at the top. Excellent walks up to the RTE masts and more. Views are stunning so bring your camera.

This is hard work walking last of jouney up tarmaced road to peak after leaving car in car park below...nevertheless to see whole of county below compensates for boring past geography lessons as all reveals itself

We were doing route 2 of the the 5 driving routes from Kilkenny. The views really show off the patch work quilted fields, we had so much fun doing this day trip. We concur with previous reviews the views are breath taking.
