One of the best places for some recreation. Nice, rural feeling, island of tranquility, fresh air, beautiful countryside. Since the last few years the car traffic has increased much, so we can't enjoy biking around anymore...

This NAtural Park is located in the most western corner of Hungary. Őrség means ‘defence area’, the region originally played a frontier-guarding role at the time of the Hungarian conquest. Throughout the centuries, Őrség’s inhabitants have created its characteristic landscape in harmony with nature. This unique landscape is full of great spectacles as hills and valleys, deciduous and coniferous woodlands, green hayfields, moors, springs and streams. There are a great walks, all around traditional food, etc. I just could recommend those people who enjoys the calm environment, nature and clear air.
