- Younes O10 contributionsBest beer in Hvar, go-to if you are into craft beerThis is a very pleasant and cozy place to enjoy really good craft beer. Nice staff and a nice view. Really recommend this place! Come early, between 17-20, to ensure your beer, since the owners sometime close earlier due to disturbance from the hula-hula club nearby. Such a shame since this is an authentic croatian bar with outstandind beer!Visited August 2021Traveled as a coupleWritten August 26, 2021
- pfefmeisterSan Francisco, California2,918 contributionsGreat BeersPerfect little craft brewery along the promenade just before Hula Hula Bar and Grill. Open every day but Sunday 4:00 - 8:00. Choice of five beers - we tried the Special IPA and the West Coast IPA. Both delicious, hoppy, and fruity - just the way we like them. Cheese and meat platter for 80 Kuna is your food choice. Small sitting area, this is a small scale operation, but, if you like craft beer, check it out.Visited June 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten June 1, 2022
- MrMrsW50Brecon, United Kingdom657 contributionsCraft beer . Excellent little place .This craft brewery / bar is a hidden gem . It’s tucked behind a gate on the main pedestrian walkway , heading west from Hvar town . They brew their own beer, but also sell some guest craft brews from other local brewery’s . Just sit in the garden and enjoy something that isn’t lager.Visited September 2022Traveled with friendsWritten October 17, 2022
- brenda7YorkshireLeeds, United Kingdom145 contributionsGreat Craft aleWe have been visiting Hvar for 10 years and whilst we love the island and the food our disappointment been craft ale fanatics was that we could never enjoy our beer as there simply was no where that sold it. That was until the little gem Vunetovo opened. Hidden behind a door almost just past the lively Hula Hula bar you will find this little garden terrace by the sea selling the most lovely brewed craft ale. They do not have a huge selection, but cater I would say for all tastes from a dark, pale, hoppy, IPA. What they do serve is of high quality and you can sit and relax enjoying the ambience of it all. The hosts are most welcoming, knowledgeable and passionate. Vunetovo is now one of our main reasons for visiting Hvar year on year instead of going elsewhere. Highly recommend.Visited June 2019Written December 12, 2019
- mggreeneyLondon, United Kingdom115 contributionsGreat place for a beer or twoHad a couple of beers here recently. Great small outdoor seating area, shaded from the sun. Host spoke great English and explained the different types of beer on offer which was really helpful. Beer tasted great so anyone who likes a craft beer, it's well worth the walk. We even had some peanuts thrown in!Visited July 2017Traveled as a coupleWritten July 24, 2017
- Kristine Kelly ASan Antonio, Texas7 contributionsBest and only Craft Beer on HvarFound this great local spot by reading local articles on Hvar craft beer. This is true home made beer, as the brewery is located in their actual domicile. Anna, the Brewmaster, and her husband, Josko, is the carpenter. The place is super cute and comfortable. The Hosts are super friendly and proud of their craft. We tried the 3 beers they currently offer; Black IPA, Stout, and on tap a delicious Ale!! Additionally they served a type of fruit cake which paired perfectly with the beers. They were also kind enough to let us try a beer which is 2 weeks from being bottled, The Hvarska Medicina. All the beers have a local taste using local herbs and fruits. Great experience and highly recommend. Suggestion to future patrons: Try to bring something from your local craft beer scene (i.e. stickers, coasters, a beer, or even a t-shirt. Be ready to exchange ideas, thoughts, and experiences with Anna. They are true craft beer pioneers on the island.Visited May 2016Traveled as a coupleWritten May 20, 2016

- Gooran_GZagreb, Croatia335 contributionsDo not miss Anna's beerIf you're in Hvar town and love beer, don't miss a chance to visit Vunetovo. Anna is brewing fine beer and you can talk to her if you're chatty type. Be sure to support Croatian independent brewery even if you plan to party at nearby Hula hula beach bar. These guys are ripping you off by charging 42 kn for 0,33 L of Karlovacko (Heiniken junk). Take a few steps and try something fantastic for much lower price. Cheers!Visited June 2018Traveled as a coupleWritten July 4, 2018

Felt the place needed their doors open and so passers by could see inside and all guests could see the sea . They are missing a trick as it was empty until we arrived it was a great place and a shame none was drinking their beerVisited August 2022Traveled with familyWritten August 11, 2022
- Marko OZagreb, Croatia79 contributionsHvar's hidden gem, a tiny beer paradiseAlmost hidden in the neverending string of various beach bars, rent-a-whatevers and other things that dot the coastline around the town of Hvar, the place can only be described as a Mediterranean beer garden, combining the beer made by the owners themselves - and Anna is an excellent brewer - with traditional snacks and, here and there, dishes. The APA made by them was flawless and in very good shape, something you do NOT run into frequently while island hopping, and the other taps were filled by classically nice Zmajska Pivovara beers, as this "semi-"season didn't give them impetus enough to brew more different things. The prices are as expected when it comes to Hvar, but unlike a lot of places (when it comes to beer), you get what you pay for! Definitely a must-visit if you're in Hvar - and if you're in, say, Amphora, and love beer, there's no excuse not to go here!Visited August 2020Written August 29, 2020

A totally unexpected little gem in amongst a heap of beach party bars, serving some very tasty fresh craft. Had a local ipa, all beers are 38kn for a pint, so felt thy was great value for a 7.3% beer.
They offered a range of different beers too accommodating to most styles.

Hi - how easy is this to find from the harbour? Can you walk right around the sea wall or promenade or do you have to go inland via streets and then back out?

Yes, just walk around the footpath alongside the beach. Very easy to access
