The experience was ruined by too many people taking selfies. If you really want to see flowers, visit another place. Even the signage is limited and you do not get any staff to explain

This is on the way to Rumtek Monastery. It is a small place with collection of different flowers. But not well kept. U can spend few minutes here for few snapshots.

Jawaharlal Nehru botanical garden is a very nice garden on the way to Rumtek monastery. Its quite big and very well maintained. There are several varieties of botanical species, making it a treat for the plant lovers. Garden is an enchanting and soothing experience among the lush green stock of vegetation, rare plants and trees and certain species of Himalayan flowers and Orchids.

One can spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 2-3 hours depending on your itinerary. But definitely worth a stop and click a few pictures in the lovely garden.

After seeing flower show at Lalbhagh Bagalore, this is not something great place. However, you should visit this place when you are in Gangtok and you have 2 hours spare time. Good place to take selfies with some very rare flowers, which are not found in south India.

It's worth walking through and looking at the local flora and fauna. Just a few hundred yards from the Rumtek Monastery.

This could have been or was once upon a time probably a paradise for tree lovers. But now it desperately needs maintenance. This comes under the Forest Department and I strongly feel that places like these should be given to multinationals or private bodies for their upkeep.

Small park, on a mountain. Well maintained. Clean parking area, with a beatiful view. Flower show is maintained within the enclosure with entry fee. Propagules are also availaable for purchase. Not a must see place in Sikkim.

While you are in Sikkim, it completely depends on your idea about tourism and your choices, if you wanna visit this place, which is among the points of sight seeing. I would recommend it, if you love plants & greenery and a lil walk through the nature.
