Underwhelming experience. Souvenir shop at first floor and then you walk up to the top of a building for the “view point”. Much better view easily attained elsewhere in Gangtok. Staff was courteous though not much could be done to save it from being a waste of time.

The place has a magnificent view of the mountains from the top. Even if you do not get to see the Kanchanjanga still worth a visit. Best to go early hours in the day. One will have to climb few stairs to reach the top deck and then there is another deck one storied higher which is approached through the souvenir shop. The charge for the upper deck is rs 20/-. The souvenir shop has a good collection of gift items. Also there are lot of food stalls around the place.

Went there just like eveeyone does. Was fairly crowded tho not like people on top of each other. View was underwhelming. Have seen better views randomly from the side of the road or Hanuman Tok than this.

No need to visit the view point. One has to climb around 150 stairs to reach the top and there is basically nothing on the top. From the point of views, there are multiple other places with much much better views in gangtok. I would rather recommend spending time in a better place in gangtok.

From gangtok, you cannot get a better view of the kanchenjunga mountains. The panaromic view it offers of the mountain range is breathtaking. Its adviseable to go early as minimum cloud cover will allow for a good view.

As expected, beautiful view. My review for the place would be mixed in nature. The view is very good. But that is where it ends (Obviously that is the most important thing). May be, the place needs a bit more attention from the authorities.

All in all, recommended but can improve.

Its nothing very special to see at this point, you have to go up to stairs to view Kunchanjuga Himalaya"s and some small restaurant to eat. There are one gift shop at this point who sales various gift items like Chinese holy items.

A place where clear sky and good weather would allow you to take a nice close look of the Kanchenjunga range. Some restaurants and dhabas are situated at the foot of the place where one can have some food or a cup of coffee.
