few biosphere reserves in India

One of the few high altitude biosphere reserves in the country. Fantastic place for sunrises. Lovely views.

Went to North Sikkim - towards Lachen and Guru Dogmar Lake. What an experience!!! The views are breathtaking. And one doesn't mind the arduous journey to visit the place

Khangchendzonga biosphere reserve is located in Sikkim in North East India. Spread over around 850sq km, the reserve is one of the few high altitude biosphere reserves in the country. It was first notified in August 1977, but was subsequently extended to 1784 Sq km in May 1997.The largest wildlife reserve in Sikkim.

At the Tiger hill one can see the Khangchendzonga ,the Everest both at the same place. If you are lucky and the weather is good,this can be the mesmorizing sunrise point
