All our trips are taken in this spirit, you will pass through crazy busy towns, villages that time forgot, coast, mountain, beaches, highways and bypaths, you will experience markets, temples, history, modernity and many unexpected but wonderful things that India has to offer. The Royal Riders make this exciting and unexplored India safe and accessible to any one who knows how to drive a bike. We hope to meet and share our experiences and beautiful India with you very soon.

I had a fabulous 8-day trip with The Royal Riders from Pondicherry to Goa, and I would call it the highlight of the year. They were very professional and they have taken care of us the moment we landed in India. They met us the moment we arrived to India despite it was after midnight to make sure that we are accommodated well. The routes were beyond beautiful and the guide was very friendly, funny, and with a strong personality. We enjoyed his company and he always made sure that we are enjoying every single moment of the trip. We laughed a lot! Seriously, a lot! He also assured our safety the whole trip and he briefed us about the routes and challenges every day before we start the drive. This helped me a lot being a new rider. In many instances, the drive felt like a dream and I used to feel disappointed that this will eventually end!
Thank you The Royal Riders for everything..

We asked Royal Riders for a different type of trip, and that is what we got. I find that many people travel to new countries to ride motorcycles. I ride motorcycles in order to travel to new countries. What Royal Riders put together for us was a fantastic Indian experience. The rides were varied and no two places we stopped seem vaguely similar. One day it would be a beach experience with kite surfers at their remote ocean retreat. The next night would find us in a huge mansion in a town history had forgotten. The day after would be on a houseboat tied up beside a small path, villagers walking by going about their business. Other nights would be in coffee plantation where we drank our coffee as the workers returned from the work in the countryside……. This was my girlfriends first motorcycle trip. By the end of the first day she had traveled twice as far on a motorcycle as she had ridden previously. Our guide was able to accommodate for her lack of experience and we all returned in great shape…… I have taken many trips with other companies. Those trips can often start feeling like work. Up at 8:00am, ride all day to find yourself in a new hotel which is almost the same as the last. The Royal Rider will provide a very different experience if you let them…… Of course if you just want to ride twisty mountain roads through tea plantations all day, they will do that too.

I used Royal Riders twice on a recent holiday trip to Puducherry, both with great experiences.
Once, when taking a day tour with a guide through the local regions and on to Auroville, and then a second time when renting a motorcycle on our own and travelling with my partner as a pillion passenger down the road less travelled, on our own adventure.
Both times the service, level of communication, professionalism, condition of the bikes, value for money, and quality of the overall experience were excellent. Riding a Royal Enfield in Tamil Nadu was definitely a highlight of our trip!

We had an awesome trip from pondi to Goa through the magnificent India, but what made it the best was the professionalism of the royal riders and the cool tour leader Raul....we became friends and he made sure the trip is planned and squeezed everything into it! Amazing and safe riding skills, always looked after us and we had many laughs. Big up royal riders and will definitely be back soon!

I had two great journeys with The Royal Riders - first we went to Pondichery and around it - to Auroville, Matrimandir, some other villages around - I learned what is Royal Enfield motorcycle is all about: Iron and Air - amazing feeling.
Second trip we made to Gingee - this was longer than the first, so I enjoyed even more. Guys know the routes, tell interesting stories about India and local people, everything feels very special.
I recommend The Royal Riders to anyone who wants to explore India, its nature and people. This is a great feeling!!

My husband I have just finished a 20 day trip from Pondicherry to Goa 2 up and what a ride it was. Our first visit to India so we had lots of apprehension but we needn't have worried from the moment we made the booking The Royal Riders/ Gregory kept us informed and answered any and all the questions we had. Once in India our safety and enjoyment was their may priority. Raul our guide was super easy to get on with immediately and always discussed the days riding and route before we set off. We had lots of fun but he was always professional and always put our safety first. The riding from the perspective of a pillion was awesome and the planned route offered us everything we wanted from this trip to help us see the real India while enjoying the riding too. The mechanic/guide Raja and Deen our support drivers were excellent too and by the end of the trip felt like family. The bullet is a fantastic bike to ride in this country always feeling steadfast and sure even 2 up whatever the terrain and we certainly encountered some that was challenging. If you want to see India on 2 wheels do not hesitate to contact these guys you will have an awesome time and make some great friends too.

I went to pondy on a peak holiday time and could not rent a bike or moped. As i walked out of Cafe des Arts i saw their office where the owner(sorry didnt get your name) and another guy speaking tamil cleaning and inspecting a bullet 500. As I own a DS500 was curious and keen on renting the bike. I was welcomed in and handed over 4-5 pages to fill in to rent a bullet. The owner kept my original drivers license and gave me a photo copy.
Was charged 1000Rs per day to rent a bullet classic 500cc bike and the owner generously waived off the taxes on it. I felt the price was high but giving a bullet to someone takes more than that. Anyways I rented the bike for 2 days and the only thing that felt bad/sad is they close by 6pm and I had to return the bike before the cut off time.
Will surely rent a bike from them next time I am in pondy but would be nice if they could stay open for bikes to be returned by 8pm at least.
