This one of oldest Roman catholic church looks like more holy due to its whiteness. We saw awesome painting inside the church. You feel  good positive vibes when you go inside. This place is quite and calm. Church has own two wheeler parking area. This church should be in your list.

It's one of the most famous places to visit if you are in Puducherry. We went on the Christmas Eve and it was so well lit and vibe of the place was so much energising.
Just one this. The entrance can be kept more tidy by the authorities. As it is a Holy place, it should be kept clean and tidy.

Whilst strolling the streets we came across the magnificent old church. We were able to go inside and look around whilst the locals and tourists alike came and went. Beautiful on the inside as well.

I loved the architecture of the church,it looks elegant with the white painted walls and huge blue doors. What I found strange was that people opened their footwear before entering the church which generally happens in a temple or a mosque. I loved this gesture of the people, probably that was to maintain cleanliness.

This is a beautifully maintained cathedral. The use of white, blue and yellow paint in the interior makes the cathedral cheerful and inviting. Many churches use dark wood and stained glass which can be depressing on a rainy day. The choice of colours in this cathedral were refreshing.

The church requires only 10 mins of your time so go and visit it. Best time is to visit just before lunch time 2:45PM you will find very few people and can admire the place more.

The church has old time charm and one gets a feeling of calmness. Located in middle to old town, we were lucky to witness few of the evening processions.

This beautiful cathedral with its turbulent past history is worth a visit. The facade is typical portugese architechture, a rare find in punducherry. European design architecture and beautifully appointed inside with many statutes and decorations. Also it has two side alters for private prayer etc. Very peaceful place contemplation

This was a beautiful cathedral. Look up and see the architecture. There were stations of the cross around the outside with the two smaller alters on either side of the main alter. We were luck enough to visit during a mass. So we watched the service. There was also another simultaneous speaker outside. In general, this cathedral is simpler than the ones in Europe. The statues around the outside and the stations have bold colors. The cathedral is very well maintained. You can look around yourself. There aren't any tour guides. Very beautiful. Too look around inside you need to take off your shoes.
